The Snow Discussion Thread

All our snow and ice has gone now...I don't mind the cold, I just hate sliding to and from the shops :lol:
 
Final total for yesterday was about 6 inches. Driving today sucked because the wind blew more snow on the road, not to mention I guess the temperature is so low that salt wouldn't work on the ice. But I made it to and from school without incident 🙂
 
Woot! We've got a winter wonderland going on. And it's still snowing! No school tomorrow. 🙂
 
Ugh roads are still crappy today.

I guess that magic temperature for salt not to work is 15 degrees Fahrenheit. It was definitely 19 degrees today, so I still don't see why the roads weren't cleared or at least salted.
 
The weatherman says we definitely will be having snow for Christmas this year :cheer:
 
I'm expecting the snow on the ground already to stick around, so if I don't get more snow here, I'll still have a white Christmas 😀
 
It snowed about an inch here. Then a couple days later we had freezing rain, but it cleared up pretty quick.
 
The snow's back here in the Midlands, only a sprinkle but they say we are to have it really bad over the weekend :shock:

They can't predict todays weather... I can't see them being right when they are predicting 1 week+ in advance.
 
I'm slightly gutted, where I am, we aren't getting it like some........I want the serious stuff :lol:

Pavement is usually colder than the air since the cold air settles near the ground.
 
I'm so excited because we're supposed to have a white Christmas!

Very pretty but been mighty cold brrrrrrr...
