I love xenforo, but when it comes to pre-available content I believe MyBB has the upper hand which imo is a great choice for this.
Sounds like an amazing set up then. Though I'd make it something like a few hours versus 24 for sleep. If you have to log off and not do anything for 24 That could limit the progress of the game, amount of fun people have, and could detour or have people forget about the site all together. It'd be another phone app that dies due to the same thing. Just have it so the days are 6 hours irl time or something along those lines "Lore wise" and you need 2 hours of sleep per 6 hours. That way the day/night system comes four times a day, and can help those who might be busy with work, etc. Just a suggestion though.It's a good example, I understand what you're trying to explain. What I want is a more beginner-friendly one because I think a lot of these RPG forums tend to intimidate new users who have no idea what to do. So I want to try and minimalise as many of these daily things like food.
But one thing I have worked out is sleep. So, what I'll have is, people earn different amounts of coins for posting around based on their jobs and where they are posting. After a while, the amount they earn will be much more limited because they need to "sleep". After around 24 hours, they will start to earn the normal amounts again. All of this is automated so I won't have to do anything or check.

I've been talking to ash, and trying to get some sort of character customization added which I think would be cool. Here's what I have as the starting model, and one of the ending models if you chose to buy a full gold outfit. Or full red outfit for the lady.
I think it'd add some better character development as you'd start out with enough money to buy some starting items, and then save up to create the character that you're RPing 🙂

Yes we do. We have 4 skills - intelligence, wisdom, strength and charisma.
My suggestion is kinda complex. I'll just wait for your features to come sir. I hope the terrarp will come back soon..

The basic guides are up now so if you guys want you can create your character sheet.
I'm an admin on this project 🙂 So I can give some updates if you'd like. We now have a fully working shop, avatars and some amazing, fully functional character customization. We have the character sheets, all information, etc. finished as well as most of the addons we need.
Right now we're working on the Lore, bot/addon for certain things, and once all that is done we should be good. Ash is doing a few IRL things at the moment, so we might be a tad behind schedule.
I'm using photoshop for the avatars we have. I'm guessing as long as it's within the same artstyle Ashe wouldn't have a problem with that. However I'd talk to em' directly.
