Traffic from signature advertising?

As far as I'm aware, no. I think we may have gotten a few users here and there, but I feel like I've had better luck participating in things that allow me to reach out to users from other forums and getting them to join after the event. At the very least, I feel like it helps with word of mouth on the off chance someone's curious and wants to click on it or wants to check out a new forum. I've never really looked into the traffic though, I guess I should some time.

No, I do not have clicks to my forum signature or have fewer clicks.

Be sure to setup campaign parameters in your signature URL to track any clicks. Don't do anything blindly.

Right now, no. But I believe consistency is key. If I keep doing that and providing good feedback/discussion/comments, people in that forum will trust me and eventually they will tend to click on my links.

You'd have to have a lot of members wear your signature if you want any traffic. Not all your traffic is going to convert to registrations though, which is why it would be better to have 5 - 10 members wearing your signature. The size of the forum you're advertising on also plays a part in your predicted traffic ration.

Of course you can get a good amount of traffic from signature advertising. Many people think it's enough to spam their posts to hundred threads and the traffic will come. But no one is going to buy your service or click on your signature if you can't prove that you know what you are doing.

Post amazing threads in relevant forums/threads and you will get click. I promise!

Also consider that there are topics that have disable the sigs. Allot of members here have there settings turn on so that they don't see it

Signature advertising is helpful if your participation is high and useful for other members. If we speak of signature advertising in email then it is very helpful.
