He could have just said that. Unless you get solid proof its him i doubt he will be banned here or anywhere.

I was sorry to hear this .. also he is staff at my forum but he has never done anything like this on my forum or even attempted too.

I have told him that what he does is up to him just to keep in line on the prozzz or else.
 
Well i suppose he is acting like he comitted it, and he did use that picture in his avatar on the forums to give him away slightly.

But still..

I have a backup user account and if I take one look at the logs and see any attempts have been made to login to the acp.ill trace the ip and ban it. So I reckon I should be safe.
 
you should of just asked your host to restore a recent backup
 
I do feel sorry for you in a way, but you do deserve it really for having far too many administrators (which is always going to help your forum get hacked) and also for trying to cheat in the Forum Promotion FOTM Contest.
 
i suggested tpl/black panther get a free phpbb3 forum hosting with me (i now offer it) but he thinks phpbb2 is safer ~confuse~
 
phpBB2 is lol not safer than phpBB3. Its actually less safer and more vulnerable to hackers.
 
That sucks. It really does.

The new forum is looking great! It's gotten 1,450 posts in it's first 3 days and averages about 450PPD!

Good job getting it going again.
