Twitter exchanging bird for X?

I like to look at things that Musk does in a way that I mostly humble myself into admitting Musk likely knows more and has better decision-making processes than I do. I mean, the man has a plan to go to Mars and I am trying to afford brand-name bread. However, Twitter achieved the "Tweet" status, on par with Google achieving "Google it" and turned their brand into a verb. This a feat that most, nearly 100% of every company will never achieve. I can't see any reason to give that up and I see no hope in "X it" becoming anything beyond a meme. Plus apparently, the name and logo are Trademarked by Meta and Microsoft, so idk how that will go. And pulling the @X handle without any compensation seems like a horrible PR start (granted, I will say that the story of "zero" compensation seem iffy)
 
X will die on the Z marks the spot to go with his other X things
 
I don’t mind the change personally. It’s still the same platform at the end of the day, just with a new name and face. I’ll always use it for streaming and business reasons, until I have a reason not to touch it anymore. My only complaint is the color choice.. but it is what it is.

What color would you have used? The Twitter blue?
 
Even though Twitter has changed to X, the content that people still put out is the same. Not much has really changed aside from that.
 
X is a good name for a lot of things, but it sounds stupid in this context.
 
He has a thing for X. For example, SpaceX.

I don't care what he does with Twitter. I was never a fan. I don't think the name change will effect anything.

The only thing that's weird is seeing the X logo on my phone screen. Every time I see it my first inclination is that I was hacked and someone put a porn app on my device. Then I realize it's just Elon, lol.
 
I wonder what other letter websites lead to. They are super expensive, of course. They are probably the most expensive ones. Am I right?
