Got mine two weeks ago as I fell into the sixth group in the UK (One of our priority groups) which I wasn't expecting. At least it means I can have my second dose by the end of May so hopefully I can shoot out of this bloody country after ages trapped inside it. Greece or Spain beckons!

I'm very happy for you, man! My girlfriends already had it twice and I don't think I've ever contracted the disease. I got something last year and it knocked me off my feet for 3 and a half days. I had a cough, chills, and I just wanted to sleep. I could barely stand. So I went and took a test and it all came back negative.

Since my job qualifies me as a front line worker we were offered them and I passed. To worried about the future, maybe to much Resident Evil 😛

Looks like we'll have to settle for CVS once they got booking room. WalGreens banned me from their servers apparently? 😕

That's great. I plan to get one sometime. It's just that, they are a bit rare over here

I gonna hold mainly because all they got around here is pfzner. Eh... no thanks that RNA can only lasts just hours outside of it's strict -94F or colder dry ice conditions.

Even Modernia is MUCH more resilient and still very effective than what known of the JJ. Though JJ is the most stable out of all of them since it's skips the requirements of the RNA completely sparing the need for "special" refrigeration and was proven to still have a 100% rate of avoiding the hospitalization rate during the clinical trials.

Where can I see data for all of the various brands of vaccine listing how many people have died after receiving them?

It's not THAT depth but Seeker on Youtube discusses this quite well. Yes they are a reputable Youtube channel unlike Blossom and 5-Minutes Craft.

I got the first dose of my vaccination at Wal-Mart yesterday. I go in on the 28th of April to get my second dose which I hear is really hard on most people.

For Modernia on non COVID exposed? Yea i heard the same, interesting that Walmart does it but not Target.

I got the Moderna. A lot of people are waiting for the Johnson and Johnson vaccine rather then get the 2 step Moderna shot. My concern is that I want to get vaccinated as soon as possible. When you have a pandemic going on and you have access to the current vaccine, that person needs to take that oppurtunity rather than "wait" for another one to come out because they could get infected during the amount of time they're putting off getting it.

I had my first dose on Feb 3rd (8 weeks ago today) I have another 4 weeks to go before the second. I had the AstraZeneca and although I've been in close contact with the virus I didn't get it which I'm taking as a good sign. I live with a school age child so I can get free lateral flow tests from the government. I feel much safer these days.

For Pfzner I can understand because as I said here it's RDNA is very unstable if it literally not kept in Dry Ice or colder since it's can only gets as "hot" as negative 94F. As a reference that's almost as cold as Dry Ice itself (it's clocks in negative 110F or so).

For me I am not gonna risk CVS not having $10,000 freezers for these things, the truck driver taking a leak, stopping at a Wendy's or what have you for them to become a semi thawed state at any point during transit.

Moderna and much more on JJs are MUCH more stable than Pfzner so I rather take my chances until at least one of them are on the menu.

My issue with the vaccine is that it doesn't last very long.

The flu shot lasts 6 months before you need a booster. Moderna lasts 3 months and then it's time for your next shot.

That's concerning if the vaccine doesn't last long AND doesn't prevent the virus, just lessens the effect. I have a friend who had the virus a year ago and still has antibodies. I'll be keeping in touch with her every few months to see if she still has the antibodies present and she finds out because she donates plasma monthly.

Indeed that is something to be concerned as well since not only the inconveniences but the environmental, supply and so on concerns too.

Luckily we lives in the era of medicine progressing very rapidly so hopefully this isn't something that have to be concerned and hopefully we can put in on the same regime as the flu shot at least. So it can be just one more needle/year than usual until better preventive measures can be put into masses.

I am vaguely thinking nao medicine could be a possible solution to getting your boosters all automatically and etc AS NEEDED instead of "um, let's guess and stick a needle at it and hope it's works".

Got both vaccine doses. The microchip beeping is only slightly annoying and the antlers I’ve sprouted are looking to be at least 10 points. Overall, I’m doing well aside from the two above points. I’ve read from an obscure YouTuber that antlers are common so I should be good.

Edit: I am very much for the vaccine, really do have both doses, and hate the Facebook medicine doctors who know more than real doctors. This disclaimer is for those who think my above shit posting is satire against the vaccine.

I agree with you 100%. It's interesting to note that there was a lot refusal to take the smallpox vaccine when it first came out with similar fears. As we all know this disease has been eradicated by vaccination.:

I get my second dose at the end of April and can't wait.
