Vegetarians vs Meat Eaters

He made up a hypothetical situation. It doesn't insinuate he doesn't know what rabbits eat. So kindly follow your own preachings and read first.
Don't you just prove CarMadMike's point there?

I don't think he needs to be told this. There are some staff members that I personally am not fans of, but I don't tell them how to do their job. :great:

Vegetarianism is a lifestyle choice and I have nothing against them. I just like meat, so I'll continue to eat it. Nomnomnom.

The fact the hypothetical situation wasn't factually correct leads me to believe the creator of said situation doesn't know much about animals. His other posts further this notion.

When an Admin is being an ass towards someone, they need it pointed out to them. I don't take kindly to being spoken down to, especially by the forum owners who enforce rules on others but not themselves.

He said he knows what he stated isn't true, as I highlighted in my previous post, so your rude comment wasn't necessary.

How was I being an ass towards you? I simply replied to your post in the exact same manner you replied to Hakuto_washi, If you wish to be treated with respect, please treat everyone else with respect.

Now can we please get back on topic.

You made the rude assumption I hadn't read someone's post...coupled by the roll eyes smiley = condescending. So I'm hardly being rude by pointing out your lack of decency towards me.

So again, follow what you preach. Especially being an admin, you should be setting an example, not encouraging rude behaviour which yourself are currently doing.

P.S. Respect is EARNT, not given (you gave me no respect, so don't expect it back). I don't respect meat eaters.

Even the meat that is said to be "whole, and raised healthily", is still unhealthy for our bodies, just because of what small farmers, and big produce corporations alike put in their meat.
If you really don't care about what is put in your body, well, then there really isn't anything I'd say to you about it. I'm not gonna be a prick about it to anyone, even if I think it's wrong.

Do you live in a small farmers town where those ranchers actually raise their cattle? EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM does NOT add anything unnatural to the food of the animals. They feed the cattle food that makes them healthier, and in turn when the cattle when slaughtered and processed into either steak, or ground beef, the meat is a whole lot healthier to eat. There is no steroids and other chemicals going into the feeding and raising of cattle.

People want it, but it's not a need or a desire? Are you actually reading the correct posts and replying in the correct threads? Of course there is a need for meat! Hence why the supply has gone up. Supply and demand. Take salt for example for the roads during snow. We don't WANT it on the roads as it can cause problems if it snows on top of it once laid, but we NEED it to be able to drive on the roads that day. Supply and demand.

Meat is desired in dishes, needed by people who fancy eating some meat and is supplied by farmers, I really don't see the problem there. Yes the animals are not like their wild counterparts but isn't that slightly better for you as we are not eating the 'real' thing as you are clearly stating we are basically eating technology.

For the record: CMM has done nothing wrong as an Administrator, he stepped in when required as you were clearly biting a members head off with no bark as you misread his post. Respect will not be shown to you if you don't respect CMM, like you said... it's earnt so are you going the right way to earn his? Doubt it.

Right that's enough.

Back on topic, All off-topic posts will be deleted from now on.

You still don't know what need is? Need is something that is NECESSARY. Jesus.

We do not NEED meat. DESIRE does not = NEED. Want does not = NEED. And no it's not slightly better because they're still unnecessarily harmed and killed. Why is that so hard to understand? The supply is there because of the WANT for meat. It's the SAME with most things bought and sold. Why is there a large supply of hoovers? Because of the WANT for them. FOR EXAMPLE: Nobody NEEDS a hoover (a broom and brush will do), but people WANT hoovers because it's quicker and more convenient. And yet more examples by yourself that don't make sense. When snow falls on salt, it melts, so why the hell wouldn't drivers want it on the roads?

And CMM HAS done something wrong. He's spoken down to someone who corrected another members biological mistake. I don't give a flying f about respect. But I do give a flying one when an administrator can't follow his own freaking rules.

Shut up about it, and get back on topic. YOU are in the wrong, so stop trying to apply GUILT of what you started, to the STAFF that reprimanded you.

I'm not the one who was an ass, so kindly shutup yourself and practice what you preach.

What am I preaching? And watch out on the language please. 😛

Vegetarians are great people really. Some people in my family are Vegs. That doesnt mean that I have to be a vegetarian.

While on the meat side, I can eat meat all I want, but that doesnt mean that I have to.

Both, in moderation is great for your body, so don't discount the good of both things.

Vegetarian must be a boring life, all you can really eat is grass.

Even though I have nothing against vegetarians, I don't see the fuss with people thinking, "Oh the poor pig is dead". Meat is good for you, tastes nice etc. But of course its the persons thoughts if they want to eat meat or not.

Wow, just wow.

Humans can't even digest grass.

You must be one of those people who doesn't eat anything but meat because clearly you've missed out lots of food groups that exist that vegetarians can eat.

And no, meat is not good for you unless you like to be at risk to cancer, heart disease and other problems?

You're preaching to me to shutup. So do the same. AND ZOMG, I SAID 'ASS'. CALL THE POLICE, IT'S SO OFFENSIVE!

And meat is never good for you. Go figure.

Also XD @ minus rep. How pathetic.

Care to provide a few links to back that up?

It's common knowledge.

An example of one of many people who have become healthy by cutting out meat and other stuff. Their cholesterol levels are a lot better, lost weight, etc.

Etc, etc etc.

Sun can cause cancer too. Does that mean I should only go out in the dark? :S

The benefits of meat outweigh the chances of cancer. After all, cancer is caused by weird cell mutation and (feel free to jump in if I'm mistaken) somehow I don't think meat is the 'big gun' in causing that.

Though it's a known fact that vegs live longer.

But I digress...

It might be worth noting that FrightSite is blocked from this section now so can't reply.

You can't agree with something that isn't even true *sigh*

So little common sense among meat eaters.

People should watch this then say whether they'll still eat meat or not.

I have the right to agree to what I think is true, not what you think is true.

We eat to stay alive and keep are Iron levels to the point that we dont die. If humans didnt eat meat, we would all be dead.
