i am a vegetarian, for at least 10 years now and proud of it :great:

why? because i care for animals
and more people should :roll:

i know how delicious things can be though

My fiancee is somewhat of a vegetarian. She still eats fish/seafood but no animal meats. I tend to call her a pastatarian, though. I see what she eats and it's far too unhealthy for my taste. I'm a bit of a freak though. My last bloodwork I had done my cholesterol was just over 100.

I do find it sad that you miss McDonalds. You could of aimed higher like a nice steak (bacon-wrapped filet mignon) or at least Burger King, lol.

Same here, That's why we have an appendix.
Some herbivores like a cow have more than one stomach to process vegetation.

Anyway some meats are better for you than others. It depends on how you cook it. Like fish and chicken are pretty healthy to begin with, even more so if you boil or bake them.

I'm a vegetarian myself. I do it both for environmental and ethic reasons.

My mother is Eastern European (Romanian to be more specific), and she's always been the household's cook. Meat was a huge part of my diet as a kid, but becoming a vegetarian after that wasn't all too hard.
