Keane, Beckham, Cantona, Tevez, Ronaldo have all been and gone yet Utd stays a top team. People write Fergie off alot because he has his crazy moments but hes proven himself over and over.

Swap Rooney for Benzema and some cash!

Then get rid of Nani and Anderson to anyone at any price because they are plain awful!

Nani just needed games and playing time, he is one of better players this season... Anderson is another matter though

Sir Alex can't keep a good relationship with some of their players. Think of Tevez, Van Nistelrooy, Beckham, etc. But they'll get a lot for Rooney, and they really need it, cause the Glazers will eventually send Man U down the toilet

Chelsea doesn't need Rooney. The combination of Drogba and Anelka is more than good enough. Besides, having good players is one thing, but the winners are good players who play together well.

Man U can get quite a lot for him, and it would be good, cause they're in quite a lot of debt under the Glazers.

Yes, that combination is good... for about 2 more years. They are both 30+ and won't last too much longer probably. Rooney would fit in and play well with the rest of the team just nicely.

He just doesn't seem like the guy who fits into Chelsea's system. Also, his ego is going to be a distraction for Chelsea. Having skilled players is one thing, but having skilled players who can play together is how you win, and I don't think he'll fit in.

I totally agree with you here clovie. :yes: Most of chelsea's players are getting older and that isn't going to help us out in 5-10 years when we need lots of new good players because they have all left.
