That sounds to me as if he is not that keen on paying what he bid for the site. Perhaps I'm wrong.Tindris said:... told me it was fine to leave it open until that time.

Thanks for the clarification Tindris, I will think about it.

It's a weird situation that I wouldn't describe as bailing.
He had the money, and was ready to buy the site. He waited around a month for you to come online so he can send you payment. It's not his fault that personal things arose where he no longer could afford the site, when he was anxiously waiting for almost a month to buy it.
I was genuinely interested in buying this site. However, I didn't want to bid more than $80 and I didn't believe that there was a real bid for that amount. I received a lot of disagreement when I posted the above about a month ago. Obviously I don't know all the details so I don't know if it was the buyer who wouldn't pay or if the seller didn't want to accept the bid.Fergal said:sounds to me as if he is not that keen on paying what he bid for the site

Fergal said:Thanks for the clarification Jordan. If I was in your shoes, I would have been asking that the auction be closed so that I could be sure of getting the site for my original bid 🙂
However, at that time I replied with tomorrow I have a plane to catch going back to Ontario, which is where I live. (At the time I was in Prince Edward Island).Tindris said:Will you be available a couple of hours earlier than this time tomorrrow?

I am sorry to hear that his has happened to you, but this also puts me in a difficult position as you probably understand.
I had accepted your bid, and also have bills to pay each month.
