Well I hate to disagree but no it shouldn't just for that reason. The bible says to kill gays, do we allow killing gays since it's in the bible? Do we allow sex slavery since it's in the bible?

But you could say the same thing by getting rid of i.e. temples even though religious freedom states people can practice what they want. What is the difference between drinking "the blood of christ" and smoking marijuana to "communicate with god".

Make it legal... another huge waste of money... make laws stating your drive high you goto jail for like 5 years or sumin... make strict laws around what could effect others... dont wast 1 billion dollars stoping the... waste 1 million in protecting others... you save 9 million right there.

NSW

WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Government plans to decriminalise possession of up to 30 grams or up to two non-hydroponic plants, but $200 fines will apply. First-time offenders are now cautioned.

QUEENSLAND
Possession is criminal, but adults may be cautioned.

ACT
Possession of up to 25 grams, or five plants, is not a criminal offence but carries a $100 fine.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Possession by adults of not more than 100 grams or one non-hydroponic plant is not criminal but carries fines of up to $150.

TASMANIA
Possession is criminal, but offenders with less than 50 grams may be cautioned.

Up to 1oz = a $100 ticket here. Minors get 4 hours of drug classes with that too though.

Paraphernalia at least is legal here, but cops are technically allowed to smash it.

Cops around where I am aren't that bad but under law its always a ticket here. However, I've never been stopped before even when cop definitely knew I had it on me (it was his lunch break lol) and a guy I know who was searched and they found it was let off with a warning.

One cop in our town is a dealer though so lol we have it better than most

Haha that's good then. Yeah, most people around here don't care, they are a little bit more hard on teenagers because you can't legally have it, but for adults they normally don't do anything, I've only known one person who got caught and fined it was only a $20 fine. lol.

The one stupid thing here is bongs are banned for sale, but you can buy them in other states or buy them online and get them shipped to your house and customs don't confiscate them or do anything.

lol yeah well headshops are wicked expensive anyway, Grasscity is the place to go, although US customs sometimes stop them, even though they are sold around here.

Of a Cannabis day in Canada where everyone was smoking weed there was only one arrest for violence, want to know who it was? Someone who was drunk

My school recently attended Model Congress at AIC, our bill was the legalization of Marijuana with a tax of 40%. It passed 24 in favor, 12 opposed, and 1 abstention. I've never been more proud of a debate than then.

I don't really care if it becomes legal or not. The rules are fine in my country and state, if it ever did become legal i would grow my own, because i don't want the government putting toxic chemicals into my herbs.

Marijuana is a gateway drug because it's illegal. The reason why people move onto different drugs from it is because of the dealers offering them the more serious stuff.

I dont agree with it being a gateway drug, i smoke weed on a regular basis and ive never been offerd anything else by my dealer. Even if they did offer me something more i would just say no, its common sense lol

but yeah it should be legal in the uk but its very unlikely that it will become legal because all of the bad publicity in the past.
