Also I'm undecided on weed and such. Moreover:

Basically if it's a drug that puts people aside from yourself in harm's way it should be restricted or illegal.

No clue. IMO, I think it should be banned on the state level. I'm not a scientist, so I can't tell you with full certainty whether I think it should be banned in my own state, however, I believe completely in states rights. California should be able to allow it, I don't give a damn what they do over there.

I disagree. The federal government should be the ones protecting peoples' personal freedoms. We can't have personal freedoms protected in one state but not protected in another.

Not sure if I have posted in this topic or not, so I will say really quick my view on it.

I have no problems with using it for Medical purposes. If people use it for that, great. But I do have problems with people using it just to get high off of. It's a conflict for me. On one hand, I want it to be legal for the medical reasons, but on the other hand, I don't because I know people will abuse it.

Why do you care if people want to use marijuana to get high? And by only medical purposes, you mean anyone using it for religious purposes shouldn't use it? In the Rastafarian religion that's theor way of connecting with god, who says thats wrong?

So do you also want to make drinking illegal for people do it just to get drunk? Which is 10x worse than being high?

Marjuana is alot less adictive than alcohol. You cant overdose on it either.
It should be legal under the same condition alcohol is legal, with restrictions on where you can consume it, laws against where you can be intoxicated and laws against driving whilst under the influence.

tbh, I think the same should apply to acid. Its impossible to overdose on and impossible to get addicted to. (Because if you taking two trips within a few days of each other will mean the second has absolutely no effect.)

A few days.

I suppose it could be up to a week depending on how much you had ingested, and how quickly or body processed the chemicals. But its generally a few days.
