Well, it passed

@The Hat Tipper, the more you tax people, the less they invest into the economy. Also 1/3rd of the health industry said they'd quit if this passed, so yes, there will be a need for nurses.

He was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia.

The born in Kenya part is disputable, to be honest.

Rush Limbaugh for president!

Is unconstitutional. States/the people have any/all rights not given to the federal government in the Constitution.

It did pass, however republicans are still going to find way's of delaying parts of it, and many amendments could still be made to the bill.

We are going to take it out from the Supreme Court. I'm proud of my state for suing the mean old Federal Government, it's about time that they stop bullying local government!

I follow Glenn Beck. He's reasonable.

I support the bill for one reason.

It puts legislation to STOP Insurance companies from turning down customers, and also it will stop them from just blindly turning someone down when they actually have a problem. If anything, I think Obama should subsidize insurance rather than subsidize corn production. Don't know what I'm talking about? Watch Food, Inc.

Put yourself into someone's shoes. Imagine if you had cancer, and your insurance company had just dropped your insurance. You cannot get insurance anywhere in your state. What do you do?
Insurance companies are proven to drop coverage less. You also can't be denied healthcare in an emergency.

And Snobo if you actually watch his shows he's not bad.

Who says that we put Glenn up as Rush's running mate?

Rush Limbaugh for President!
Glenn Beck for vice president!

...
Sean Hannity for Secretary of state?

Too bad GB keeps saying that he's only in politics for money and doesn't want to be a politician XDXDXD

But yeah I'd take GB as VP or as POTUS any day.

Looks like we have a bunch of Obama haters. That's cool, no matter who the president is, people are going to complain. A lot of people just need a reason to B*****, and this gives it to them. Most don't even know the slightest thing about politics. Obama is not a cheater and he is immensely better than Bush. But time will prove me right on that. If you don't like the way things are why don't you go take all your "Hatred" and go write a congressman. Write the president. Or you could run for a seat in congress and fight for what you want changed.

I don't hate Obama at all, think he's actually a pretty cool guy, just that I don't agree with him on this. I'm just sick of it being "politically correct" to hate Republicans and Christians saying they're just stupid assholes or rednecks which a lot of dems do.

I don't hate all Republicans because they're assholes and rednecks; I dislike the Republicans who are assholes and rednecks. Coincidentally, those Republicans are the ones who allowed Bush to get elected.

The same could be said when Bush was around:

"You only hate bush because you want something to complain about. Clinton was the real gangster!"

Then, 8 years earlier:

"You only hate George Bush (sr.) because you want something to complain about. Reagen was the real gangster!"

*applies the logic all the way back to king George the 3rd*

Get the picture? Obama is not bad because he's the current president, he's bad be3cause he's passing legislation which will make you and me pay $$$ whether we like it or not and turn the IRS into the insurance gestapo. Whether that's true or not, that is why we hate his policies. Obama's approval ratings are currently lower than George W. Bush's were at its lowest, according to some polls (same pollsters). I watch/read the news on a daily basis, do you?

I am getting tired of this belief that the republicans are the party of "no". This is a fat, blatant, ill-disguised LIE. Conservatism is not about saying no to everything. The current government is very, very left wing, which is something that's just as revolting as governments which are very, very right wing. The government has expanded further than it ever has until now since 2008. Now the government regulates the health industry. I would just like to ask this one question: Who would you rather make your medical decisions, a government bureaucrat or yourself? This is not just about cost, but about freedom. This country was founded on free principles, after all. Originally the founders intended to have a small government, not for people to depend on it even more. I encourage you to watch this video:

http://www.breitbart.tv/shocking-audio-rep-dingell-says-obamacare-will-eventually-control-the-people

"To control the people", eh? What about this:

Now, finally, here is an interesting poll you may want to read:

https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http ... /rel5b.pdf

Here's what it says:
Obama approval rating (poll by CNN):
Approve: 46%
Disapprove: 51%.

Anybody who voted for Bush allowed him to get elected, unless I'm missing something.

Cosmic you can throw out all the quotes and statistics you want. Not going to change anything. The fact is that what is done is done.

We are debating the bill. We have a Supreme Court case and 32 states saying that they do not want to allow this legislation.

On a lighter note, wasn't Bush the one who defended our country, and wasn't Obama the one that made our debt go to 12 trillion dollars?

On a lighter note, wasn't Bush the one who defended our country
Yep. He invaded a Middle Eastern country without any cause for doing so and turned the entire world against the United States. He's my hero. <3

@Snobo: Keep on thinking that. I bet the Mexicans who swim through thumb tacks to get to the united states would agree with you.

@MrJohn: ORLY? It's the voters who vote, and the people who answered those polls were voters, not teenagers like the majority of FP users. (If you are older, than forgive me)

@Nuke: Bush raised the debt a lot too. Also note that 7 states are sueing. Others are just considering legislation.

@Kirisute Gomen: I agree, and I, personally, think both Al Gore and John Kerry aren't ideal presidents. All the elections in recent history just make you want to vote for "Mickey Mouse", really.
