What antivirus do you use?

I am using Linux system so, I don't use anti-virus. I think antivirus itself a virus for computers and there is no any reliable and more trusted antivirus for computers.

Believe me when I tell you that linux is not safe from hackers. Case in point is that nearly 90 percent of all websites run on some form of linux and they certainly don't remain untouched.

As for me, I use Comodo Internet Security Premium 10.

The best antivirus is your own common sense. You don't need marketeers to convince you about an expensive and slow antivirus suite, if you're conscious about what you do on your PC. Windows has become rather secure since Windows 7, and if you use Linux I assume you already know what you're doing. Mac OSX is a closed ecosystem and isn't targeted often.

That said, once in a while, there are serious global vulnerabilities, like the heartbleed bug not long ago. It's good to read news on that kind of topic if you care.

If you're really worried, or have little knowledge of computers, the free Microsoft Security Essentials software will do fine for Windows.

Macs have built in anti-virus. It won't download anything without alerting me. It's mainly the reason most viruses are made for windows. However, I think windows are catching on now and doing similar.

Avast, I haven't had a virus since I've started using it (on any of my computers). And I've been using it for at least 8 years.

Prior to Avast I was using malwarebytes to scan and find viruses, switched to Avast for the real time protection when I was using them both simultaneously, some time after that I just stopped using malwarebytes because the Avast protection was astounding, and now here I am.

Microsoft Security Essentials that is built in, though had Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for a good while until one day that screwed me over, from a botched update.

Besides, who really needs antivirus when you know yourself not to download random shady crap?

The antivirus I am using ever since I had a desktop is AVG and until now I still use it across on all my devices. I am really in content with the service and I also like the over all look in it. It's easy to use of course it's user-friendly and definitely would recommend it to others.

Windows Defender for myself.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for family and customers.
