The UK doesn’t want Children to be exposed to things like Pornography. And this is what Parents want. Parents don’t want their Child to be watching this kind of Content.
I don't think the parents actually care and that is a big portion of why the state is trying to act as parents in their place.

I'd hazard a guess that a bunch of parents which throw their kids over to the computer while they lie back and watch TV.
I remember watching a Video about this Ban a couple of days ago. It covered how that when the Porn Site needs your age, you’ll need something like your Passport or Drivers License to confirm your Age. In my opinion, that’s a big massive breach of Privacy.
Well, let's just say the Conservatives are going to lose the next election...

Even if people try to hide things in the closet, they're basically all perverts.
It's not Brexit or the economy which is going to make them lose, oh no, trying to suppress people's base instincts.

Well, myself, I'm just imagining all the giggling boys with cell phones watching porn in middle school. It's rather disturbing!

I would like to think they have a bit more self-awareness than to do that in public in a school.

I don't think that anybody would be watching Porn in School or in the Public Eye at all. They'd most likely be questioned of what they were laughing at and once they did, they'd get out of the Page and turn off their Phones quickly.

Porn is something that you do not watch or look at in Public.

Anyways. Can we go back to the Original Post which was about Furries and Bronies?

People are too uptight in my opinion. So some people want to make porn featuring My Little Pony characters. There's almost no way that a young child could access brony porn unless he/she has virtually no supervision from a parent or guardian. We can't just ban every single thing that people find objectionable because children "could" stumble upon it. Aren't the conservatives who want to demonize furries and bronies the same ones who believe in personal responsibility? How about parents take some personal responsibility and monitor what their children do on the Internet instead of trying to ban everything remotely questionable?

I agree with you on that. Parents think their Children will be safe because of “LAWS”. That’s not true. Unless the Child somehow finds a way to bypass a Filter or stumbles upon a “Child-Friendly Site” But is actually a Porn-Site then the Child isn’t safe anymore.

Besides, Parents don’t really care about what their Children are doing online and that mainly goes for Online-Gaming.

I have to agree. Censorship or banning hasn't worked anywhere. All it does is drive it underground. However, that's NOT saying all things are good, though. For instance, Marijuana causes more cancer than tobacco - even if legal, why should society condone it?
