When it comes to skills that I bring to the team I would have to say it depends on what part of the staff I am on.
For example, if I own a forum then I bring skills such as understanding the back end of the forum and also having writing skills as well as management skills as well.
As a moderator, I have the skills in terms of able to manage the front end of the forum and being able to warn members if needed and even send professional PMs to people if needed.
In terms of something say package team then I have the writing skills for that plus the time management as well.
