Hitler was a fascist and a murderer, but that's his domestic policy that most know him for.
He was a VERY smart man when it came to war strategy. Hitler knew what he was doing, and knew when to shut up and take advice from his advisers. He had a strong impact on our society, and yes- our defense technology. Hitler's scientists in Nazi Germany came up with tons of revolutionary ideas, and their tank-technology was amazing ( such as the King Tiger, Hitlers birthday present ).
In all, I consider him a sick man and a disgusting piece of filth, but he was a wise man.

In my opinion, Hitler was a murderer who manipulated people to serve a personal agenda. A good leader serves his country's agenda. As far as getting followers, well, the Nazi's were hopped up on speed and alcohol. I don't think it takes much to get an addict to follow you if you are their only supplier. They did what he said to keep getting their fix.

A great leader? Cool. He lead Germany into a shithole though and obviously lost the war. A great leader doesn't abandon his comrades--even in the face of death as Hitler did.
A coward--that is a better word for him.

I feel he had a negative influence. He was a heck of a leader, but his values and morals were way out of whack. He killed millions of Jews to serve his own agenda, his own beliefs, to make the perfect "Aryan" race. To top it off, he was a coward. He committed suicide so his people could not see him fall, not see him served justice. A real leader would have stepped up and be dealt justice.

Is this even a question like really? Hitler killed i dont even know how many but it was a ton. Although he was a great war leader and one of the best public speakers of all time he was still an asshole who deserves to rot in hell for what he did
Hitler may have been a very evil person with even worse intentions, but the man truly was a genius. He was able to take Germany from its very battered state, especially from WWI, and turn it into the most powerful fighting force in Europe. He also is a man of his word. He said he was going to take over Europe in his book, and he basically did. If you can take over an entire continent in just a few years, then you must be a damn good dictator.

He wasn't a great leader at all, and he is a terrible human being.
He may have been a good military commander, but in terms of being a ' great leader ', no he was not.
He was a fascist dictator who utilized propaganda and practically hypnotized his people and established himself a cult of personality so no one would try to purge him from leadership. The man was insane.

actually he was a poor military commander do to mental illness. but the great depression wasnt just in the USA at the time and Germany was the first country to pull out of it due to hitler's policies. so he was a great leader for domestic policy, however he was an evil man and he was crazier as he got older. he wiped out over 7,000,000 ppl just in the holocaust alone. he is the lowest person i can think of currently
