I've heard by my history teacher that Hitler was so crazy that he planned to destroy the whole world by digging a hole all the way down to the core of the Earth and place an atomic bomb. Actually, my history teacher made it seem like Hitler was terribly smart the way he said it.
yes, it can also be said that because he failed and germany was once again poor and completely ruined it helped them because america helped rebuild it, so his failure ended up being a lot better for Germany. I don't see though how murdering jews would give Germany power, he was bound for failure in the future, he had to many enemiesClub-Gamer said:Well, i am sure some one has already made this argument. Well, of course Hitler was evil. But, he did help Germany greatly. The Germans were dying in the streets everyday do to the poor economy and being ravaged by the vengeful Europeans after WWI. They wanted to hurt Germany so bad. That they created a perfect country for Hitler to gain power. So if you are going to blame anyone for Hitlers rise to power it would be the other European countries. who let him gain the power.
Anyway he did raise germany out of poverty into a very wealthy and strong nation. So you have to give him credit for that. Otherwise he should be tortured forever and ever. Never to be allowed to feel happiness. He was a sick and demented man that did do one good thing and that was help germany at the cost of the world.
Hes was a great military commander, which is part of what i ment when i said great leader. Leadership is mesured in diffrent ways by diffrent people just as love is and in the end you can not turn a blind eye to all of what he acomplished no matter if what he did acomplish was bad nor if the way he went about acomplishing it was quationable or bad. You have to look at the basic picture and remove all the other variables. Iam not trying to argue wether he was or was not a terraible person, i think mostly everyone would think he is. All iam trying to say is that that aside, along with the other varaibles removed, he was and still is a great military commander and a great leader.Irviding said:He wasn't a great leader at all, and he is a terrible human being.
He may have been a good military commander, but in terms of being a ' great leader ', no he was not.
He was a fascist dictator who utilized propaganda and practically hypnotized his people and established himself a cult of personality so no one would try to purge him from leadership. The man was insane.

Also back to your earlier post, Hitler did know about Atomic weapons as Eienstien had said about nuclear things back in like 1900 - 1920. The rockets he was making (V2) proved that if they could they probably would have made a nuclear bomb before America, especially if they had Eienstien before he moved to America.

But what are you basing this on? Yes he murdered people and was responsible for that but he did much more, better things for Germany. It's always the negative aspects that are posted about, yet he was a mastermind. He brought Germany from it's depression and made it into one of the strongest countries in the world today.

Hitler isn't the reason that Germany is a strong country now, and FYI it isn't very strong at all. It's maybe #10 or so on the powerful countries list. After WWII, Germany was a total destroyed mess. It took rebuilding and other types of reconstruction. Hitler didn't make it a ' world power ' ( it isn't a world power anyway )

He brought it out of it's depression at the time, though, did he not?
