If he was the prime minister of America now, and used his ability to try help the economic crisis, we wouldnt have an economic crisis, but he was a very cold person, killing millions of Jews for the sake of it.

There wouldn't be an America to have an economic crisis.

He's evil. I don't like him. It's just stupid what he did to the Jews. <_<

Actually, when you consider what he was trying to achieve, it was pretty intelligent what he did. lawl

It annoys me when people just think about the Jews he killed. -(-

It annoys me when people ignore the jews he killed and look at the positives instead of the negatives.

It's obvious his negatives severely outway his positives, but he did contribute some things to the world and his country. That I will give him.

In many ways, he was an innovator to not only Germany, but to the rest of the world. Hitler fought for worker's rights, he introduced the concept of overtime and paid leaves, etc, things which are still benefiting us to this day and to which we owe him some props. That being said, his social reform only underscored what a piece of work he was. While he fought for worker's rights, he sought to have an entire race eradicated. In trying to make Germany a better place to live for some, he sent people to living hells where they were gassed, forced to dig their own graves before they were shot, where they had horrible experiments performed on them, were they were starved, etc. This all got the rubber stamp from Hitler and needless to say, NOTHING can make up for genocide, so regardless of his achievements, he certainly deserves the "bad" vote he's gotten from me. He belongs in the deepest circle of hell (if there is such a place.), no question.

Edit: Also, just to be fair to Hitler, I have to mention that he did some great things with regards to cutting the unemployment rate. That being said, it's undermined by the fact he ordered people to work, lest they be sent to concentration camps.

Hitler didn't introduce paid leaves and overtime. Those are all leftist ideals which Hitler was opposed to. He believed in working for the benefit of the country, not the people.
You've got him confused with Marx or Lenin.

This is true, you know, since I was a Marxist myself.

Hitler was what you call Fascist. Or Corporatist. Who believed that the country as a whole should be served. Like some kind of ant hill. Of course Communist governments embodied the same ideal, but without money.

It seems that no matter what fancy sheets we put over the dead horse, we can still see the same outline of the same dead horse.

And on the subject of who he killed: There's been worse "hollocausts" before. Worse ethnic cleansings before. Hitler only killed a few million 10mil people. There's been bigger statistics before.
And what about the holocaust going on right now? All over our society?
What about the trade unionists, the Communists, the disabled, the Freemasons, the gays, and the gypsies? To hell with the Jews, they've got enough attention.

This is completely true, nothing he ever did could possibly outweigh what bad things he did

I voted "bad".

Whether Hitler may of been a good person at one point, or not, or whether he did good for his country or not is irrelavant... he killed people, doesn't matter who, why, when, or how many... he was a bigot, in all seriousness, he hated people because they were different from himself, cause they didn't think like he did.
If he was a good person at one point in time, all I can say is "what clicked?". And whether he did good for his country isn't even up for debate, his country got beaten, it got pounded... if that is "doing good" for his country then *ahem*, well you get the point.

I have friends who's grandparents escaped from east Germany, and it wasn't easy. Hitler killed around 17 million German civilians, who may not necessarily of been Jewish people. He was a tyrant... yes he was intelligent, he had to of been to rule an entire Country.

It's true there are more important issues, and some people make too big a deal over Hitler even thought he is dead, but this guy did wrong for himself, his country, and the world.

An influencial speaker who used this advantage to do horrible things.

I can not possibly vote for someone who killed six million Jews.

And they weren't even enemy solders. They were regular people, old men and women, children. He distroyed famlies on such a massive scale.

For any of you who like Hitler, read "Night" by Elie Weisel.

If you still like Hitler, I can say nothing more to you.
