What forum software do you use?

Well I have both vbulletin & xenforo, but I prefer XenForo all the way 😛

I've used SMF and MyBB which are both free softwares in the past. I liked both, but MyBB had more themes, addons, etc. Xenforo is good if you are looking for a paid software.

I always use phpBB on my own forums. Apparently, I now use XenForo on Forum Promotion. 😛

My forum currently runs on MyBB, and I would definitely recommend it. It's great for beginners and advanced users alike as there's a ton of customization you can do and there looks to be a lot of new features & design in V2.0.

My community as of the past 14 months (I think) it runs invision power 😀 Before that it was SMF. Last is WordPress

SMF is bad.

MyBB i think is best free one, paid XenForo or IPB, here it really comes down to personal tasts.

I was liking SMF until I found out there was no spam cleaner (post purger), terrible warning system and more... 😕

Good to know, I started using them since it was free until I had problems like things getting in and had no resources in the software and was very limited. Support isn't great and when posting it's from the members of other ownership users.

List goes on, even the theme I used had over 300 HTML errors and they said it's half from the SMF
