What is the best free-forum provider?

And freeforums use this reason for not adding most of the good styles.

I am sorry but this style uses a logo option that is not compatible with the FreeForums modifications for PHPBB3.

I do see why they say that but they can change it.

All of my styles (with the exception of Dark-Shines) are built like that to stop Free Hosts using them without my permission ~razz~

Go for Forumotion.com, Ive been on Forumotion forums for about 5 years, the support forum is good, and they are easy to set up, and doing the graphics/coding for them couldnt be any easier

I think freeforums.org is a really troubled provider, with a lot of issues within the staff. With too many issues going on.

I suggest Prophpbb as a great provider.

If I recall correctly, Prophpbb is version three. I don't think they have version 2 anymore.

Some are better then others... Alot of people don't feel comfortable uploading phpbb and installing it themselves even though it is easy to do and self explanatory.

Zetaboards so far. It's like IPB in a way. However even it has it flaws. Forummotion seems ok. Phpbb for free..I think they give you a shoutbox along with your forum. I like it's simple design and it's easier to post on.

Jcink 1.3 all the way! It has tons of nifty features and customizable options.
Also, they just plain look better than some of the other hosts. Not that they aren't good too..

I agree with you, www.forumotion.com is good to create free forums. My forum is with forumotion.

Forumotion is probably the best free host although, the support is quite poor on their support forum and when you purchase a domain, it cannot be altered in any way for 3 months (very annoying if your moving to paid hosting).

I agree with not being able to change your domain, its annoying. I hate forumotions support forum it is very strict.

Yeah, their support staff are actually quite useless too (well the people that tried to help me were), I had to explain about 3 times what i wanted before he actually understood what I was talking about.

In my opinion its http://www.forumotion.com. I've had a few with them and they were great. Easy to use, flexibility, can do almost anything with them.
