What was the first operating system you used?

Im not sure of the operating system, i was just a kid. But the first computer(s) i ever used in my life were

1. Commodre Vic20

It didnt do much, you could code small games and get catridges of otehr small games.

2. in schools we had the Apple IIc

Again this as a kid as i was anyway, did not do a heck of alot that i was interested in at the time anyway, could place a couple of games on it. And do a couple of other various functions. In the 80s though i was not much interested in computers

It had a high tendency to be slow on an average operating system, annoying sounds (that startup sound :shrug: ), it was simplistic, yet not appealing. Windows 10 is a dream come true.

Did you try XP after a service pack? I admit the start up sound, I didn't like. Windows 2000 one was much nicer.
 
The first operating system I used was either Windows XP or Vista.

Funny thing is I am still using Vista.

You should consider upgrading, as that is the next OS to lose support. Why don't you upgrade to 7 then to 10?

No point in upgrading, not paying to get a new OS.

Started on Windows 3.1 a long long time ago. Before that though I had a Commodore 64 for just games like Miner 49'er.
 
I first Used Windows 1066, or was it windows XP?

I have a better question to ask, when did you first get your first "Blue Screen of Death"

I didn't miss out on upgrading to windows 10 for free, there was no option to do so in the first place.
 
You had to have windows 7 or windows 8.1 to had a free upgrade
 
I started with DOS version 2 or 3 then Windows 3.1 if I remember correct 120mb HDD. lol that is so old now. hahaha
 
I'm pretty sure the first operating system that I ever used was Windows XP.
