What was your motivation?

In my opinion, many administrators make a forum thinking they're going to make a ton of money, and then fail/quit a couple weeks later.

What's that... My site runs at a loss of near $300/month. I'm not in this for the money, and I will not put ads onto my site.

I Found my motivation being that I value isolation and have problems making friends blah blah blah and I find that people online are more acceptable to who I am, I can easily make friends online and I am not judged every time they see me so I decided to create a forum called Nerds R Us you can check it in my signature I've created countless forums and websites but I often end up finding my self disappointed that no one registers or cares so I lose them but im trying my best on my forum now.
