Where do you get your music?

When I was much younger, I had... Alternative ways to get my music. However, now that I'm of age and realize the dangers and legality issues of this, I get all of my music from iTunes. 🙂

Gotta give it to Pandora One and SiriusXM. Believe it or not, using Vine and looking under the "Music" category, I have found about 12 different songs that I have downloaded. I am addicted to music, so it's easy to make me happy with it 🙂

YouTube or iTunes or if im feeling like it i'll find a KAT proxy and just download it

I convert all silly itunes files to MP3's with Switch converter, then I can play them anywhere

Mostly, I just listen to stuff on Youtube as I'm a big electronic fan, but there's so much stuff, I dunno if I could choose a favorite electronic artist.

I get my music from internet radio slacker, $10.00 USD a month to listen to anything I want.

Oh, to be honest, I also use a monthly streaming service. I use Beats Music, which is the streaming service owned by the Beats headphone company, and it's pretty good. I switched over from Spotify cause I started to dislike how Spotify was going.

Not sure if I responded to this or not yet, but...

I used to buy all of my music off of iTunes. There were a few songs that I would just listen to on Youtube. After reading this thread a bit, I downloaded Spotify and I'm using it to stream just about all of my music! 🙂

Youtube!! I love youtube, all the covers of awesome songs. It's a great place.

Mostly i just search on Internet. There are lots of ways to get music online. And simply i download it from there.

I am currently streaming to Soundcloud sounds where as we can stream so many genres thee, I just love it, bye bye to Youtube for just audio.

I buy my music the legit way, on itunes... ...Even that feels like stealing 😛
In many ways iTunes is stealing. Stealing from the artist.
Do explain 🙂
According to this article, iTunes takes 35% of each sale. According to this graph, distributors of physical CDs (which involves more money, shipping the CDs, sorting, putting on shelves, rent for the store) receive 24% of a sale. If one were to sell their music independently, the graph would look closer to this.

Because apple can. This is why i really bypass buying anything from apple or any big corporation. Google amazon apple all of them is the same thing. I usually go the indie way so i look for music or small websites. Beatport is expensive a bit but i think its worth it.
