Where do you get your music?

Spotify is my jam. 😀

Free streaming and cheap off-line listening to any song? Signed up in a heartbeat with my student pricing!

Also forgot to mention that I occasionally get my songs off DatPiff and Soundcloud.

Once in a while, I'll pick something up from iTunes but usually only when I remember something that I hadn't heard in a long time. Otherwise I usually just use Pandora.

I use Spotify, but I've been thinking about picking up another service for radio.

You should try Google Play, even if you don't pay for the unlimited streaming on/offline, they have some pretty cool personalized playlists for pretty much every mood/genre you could think of.

I mostly use YouTube to listen to my music, but If I decide that I REALLY like an artist or a song in particular, I'll buy it on iTunes. 😛

Lets just say that I have a lot of albums and artists on my iTunes account.

I use Spotify. I will buy a album of an singer I like on Google Play. I also get the free stuff on Google Play whenever it's decent .

I also use spotify. My current favourite band is capital cities, and although I have all of their music on spotify, I can't not give them money. I have bought their debut album and an official shirt from their store!

If a Youtube video has a link to a free download, and it's a song I really like, I'll gladly take advantage of it. Otherwise it's a YouTube to MP3 converter or Amazon where I get my music. I don't shop for my music in stores too much anymore because places like Walmart only have an artists newer works, and places like YouTube and Amazon have anything and everything. So I mostly go online for stuff I really want.

I buy my music the legit way, on itunes... ...Even that feels like stealing 😛
In many ways iTunes is stealing. Stealing from the artist.
Do explain 🙂
According to this article, iTunes takes 35% of each sale. According to this graph, distributors of physical CDs (which involves more money, shipping the CDs, sorting, putting on shelves, rent for the store) receive 24% of a sale. If one were to sell their music independently, the graph would look closer to this.

Thanks for this info ..i really never thought of that. Luckyly i buy everything on amazon .

Spotify definitely. Even though it doesn't have all of my avenged sevenfold music (it's missing lost it all and save me from the nightmare album D🙂 it's still a great place to discover music.

I advise you to stay away from spotify radio, it's terrible.

It depends on what I'm doing. Recently I've been just using YouTube to listen to music while at home but while I'm driving down the road I use Pandora over bluetooth. I swear, having Pandora rather than radio in your car is something you simply can't change back from.
