I had the largest post count on BC for a while, but I got over taken by the second member who signed up in the final month. The reason? He enjoyed making lots of low content posts. Most of the posts I make are a paragraph length and require effort. Quality != Quantity. Admins should provide a good example to others on how to behave, not be postwhores.

The same happened to me recently. One of my members who's sort of spammy just got more posts than I have.

Also, Admins have a lot more to do than just posting, such as promoting, hunting for MODs and themes, organising comptetitions and other such things. Very often the only reason the admin has a high post count is because of his length of stay. By the time an active forum gets to it's second year, other posters should have caught up.
