why wont people join my forums? [updated]

You like gaming, you made a gaming forum, what did you expect? That members would just flow in? Post, advertise, there's nothing else to do. Not to seem 'douche like' but why would you make a forum if you won't even post?

Give him/her time HyperActive, nobody here knows what anybody does outside of this site, so he/she may not have had enough time to promote.

I personally don't normally join gaming forums even though I'm into that genre. The reason being most gaming forums don't have a unique feel and or content to want me to join. Why join a website when I could just use IGN's forums etc.. just have to be original and a new theme (maybe custom one?), Is defiantly needed.
