So does your PC/Mac use wifi or a traditional ethernet cable to connect to the internet?

I use WiFi for all my devices, but would use my Ethernet cable for my desktop if I could (router/modem and desktop are in different locations though) as I get slightly faster speeds.

I use Wi-Fi or sometimes my phone as a personal hotspot to tether my computer. Every nook and cranny of my home is set properly with multiple repeaters and access points.

I haven't used ethernet for over five years.

Ethernet cable whenever possible, wi-fi only for phones and tablets

Wifi is very convenient so I mostly use wifi, however, Ethernet gives you a much better connection and speeds! Always!

Wireless is trash when you need as little latency as possible. Ethernet is my go to and everything in my house is using it.

I currently use Wifi on my gaming desktop. I regret it sometimes though. I would like to hard wire and see how much it improved while gaming. Maybe on day when I stop being lazy. 😛

But all in all;

Convince - Wifi>Ethernet
Speed / Stability - Ethernet>Wifi

I use WIFI allot for things but gaming and steaming and bigger things then WIFI is not an good idea
