AND ...EVERYONE. Their ratings and viewership have been dropping since the Biden Administration. They just launched their CNN+ subscription service, and they had to drop the price immediately after announcement.
Eeek.
Regardless of where anyone stands on political beliefs, CNN has really put themselves into a corner by catering to one side of the aisle. If you want to appeal to the masses, you have to focus on being neutral… They threw that away at some point along the way.
I hadn’t heard that they dropped the price of CNN+, but that’s not surprising. I can’t imagine anyone actually paying for that service. There’s probably 100 other steaming services in that price range that I’d sign up to before I even thought about that.
Having now seen video of the entire episode any doubts I might have had that it was staged ended when Smith let rip with the 'f' bomb after sitting back down.

He laughed, she didn't. The camera went back to Chris Rock, and I'm sure at that moment Will got a look from Jada and realized what he did. My gut tells me that response was 30% standing up for her, and 70% trying to save face with his wife.
The sensible thing to do is to get up and walk out.
But Will was emotional and at these award ceremonies, people drink alcohol.
Where there is alcohol there is fighting, it has been that way since the human race started drinking the stuff.
Chris Rock is out of line. Maybe now comedians will stop crossing these lines and touching on personal things. It is not funny to single someone out and offend them intentionally. Those people suck.
They are trying to bury Will alive. I'm really feeling bad for him.
Will went too far in my opinion. Look at what he's going through now over a common slap.

At this point, ya know... Will should just divorce and dump Jada completely. She is robbing Will Smith in broad daylight.

Sometimes. Not all the time. Like the Tupac vs BiG thing, that had controversy, and good publicity. The shooting only made one person legendary.

He’s a great actor. Family situation is pretty nuts though, including his children.

I think both Chris and Will were in the wrong, but what Will did was way worse. There's no way it was staged though, the cops were involved and Will is now banned from the Oscars. Also Fox news is way worse than CNN, but CNN sucks too. 😛 It sucks that this overshadowed other positive things that happened that night.
