Windows 10

I'm too cheap to bother. That and I don't use my windows lap top much. I mostly converted to mac. I just use the other one for certain things.

You're "too cheap," but reside within an Apple eco-system? Isn't it the most expensive platform?

Lol, true. In my defense only got a mac this year. XD Still too cheap to bother, since I rarely use my other computer.

I been using Windows 10 for a few months now. Right now we are on the first RTM and they broke the apps again! LOL but I found a way to fix them not sure if they will stay fixed though. They better fix it before the 29th I would say.

>_> using the technical preview til i comes out, 10% of my games crashes on it, but i hop that the release will fix it or something.

Looks like it's not as stable as it seems, lol. What kind of apps crash most often? I also want to install more games since it was too much hassle to install games on Windows 8. 🙁

Sounds like it's not exactly optimized to run on the computer. 😛 Maybe once it's installed it would be a tad more stable. Maybe. 😵

Several apps still don't work but I have not bothered fixing them like I did the others. I haven't had any games crash on Windows 10 on this latest build or the past several builds actually. I can't remember the last time one did anyways, though the Evolve program crashes quite a bit.

Well as a causal gamer its regular for me to test it with multiple Graphics cards.

But in a short summary here is the case:

AMD + Games = FPS Issues but game works fine somewhat (but no crashes)

NVIDIA + Games = Crashes on several games (i.e Dirty Bomb, Warframe, Firefall - its been a week since i played that one but maybe it works now)

Intle HD 4k Series Graphics + Games Run fine, same fps issues as AMD, no crashes. However I do not like using it so meh :/

For the stuff I am doing, with the release that just came out today, I am enjoying Windows 10, even though I have a couple issues with a few games that apparently haven't updated for Windows 10 yet.

Ever since I upgraded, my wifi has been messed up.

I upgraded to Windows 10 this morning. It looks great so far, although I'm still confused where to find some settings or options. Need some time to get used to it. I have not had any app crashing, though my mails don't seem to work correctly yet and the new browser (Edge) looks a bit weird. Oh, well, we'll see.

What happened? I haven't had a problem with wi-fi so far.

The apps seem to quit working after about a day or so. I've restored them to an earlier time and it just happens again.

It just shuts off and wont reconnect and then alot of webpages wont load for a few minutes. It didn't do this before I upgraded.

I might go over to Mac. This has been disappointing so far. Unpleasent. Keeps shutting down every 15 minutes. I might go back to 8.1 or go to Mac. Everything seems slow on it.

I upgraded and I never thought I would say thing but I prefer Windows 8.

I honestly love Windows 10. At first it was so gosh darn slow, I got CCleaner running and deleted the "old windows installation" since everything was working fine, and almost 3GB later I honestly cannot complain about the speed, it's fast, simple, and I absolutely love the integration between the Windows 8 live tile and Windows 7 start menu. Windows 8 leaves a ton of stuff behind in the upgrade that CCleaner can take care of. I would also strongly suggest using CCleaner and looking at errors in the registry.

This morning I had some issues with connecting to the internet, but after finding out having my avast! firewall up was the issue, so I had to enable Microsoft's firewall. 😛 Other than that, that's really my only complaint at the moment. It's definitely something I have to get used to though. 😛

You can always revert back to Windows 8.1 as long as you didn't delete your old installation folder. 🙂

That's surprising indeed. Was it really that bad for you? I'm sorry to hear about that. 🙁

Today I restarted my laptop few times due to the apps loaded very slow and wouldn't sync. Especially with mails and browser. I have several mail accounts with aliases; using the current mail app is very troublesome to jump between accounts and aliases. Hopefully it get sorted soon. Edge lagged sometimes, wouldn't load a page and I had to refresh it, or the 'find' box kept reappearing after a while, but usually after restart everything went back to normal again.
