Windows 10

Same with me. Microsoft should of fixed these issues before it was released. They had plenty of time. God Windows 10is awful. Sticking with 8.1 for now.

I might go over to Mac. This has been disappointing so far. Unpleasent. Keeps shutting down every 15 minutes. I might go back to 8.1 or go to Mac. Everything seems slow on it.
That is odd the shutting down. Been using it since March and have never encountered that. Sounds like it did not install correctly for some reason.

I'm starting to get more errors, though. Especially with Edge. When I restarted my laptop today, when Windows 10 launched some icons on desktop and taskbar didn't appear and it took few more minutes to get them all ready. I wonder if I screwed up somewhere.

Did the icons finally show or are they gone for good? I wouldn't use Edge too much as it is an unfinished product, beta at best.

They finally appeared. But it took way longer compared to before. I'll check again when I turn on the laptop tomorrow. Yeah, I'm back to Firefox already. Nothing beats FF. <3

I finally installed windows 10 for free the other day works great no issues so happy 🙂

I wish the WiFi issues that I've been having will go away soon.

Hmm no issue on the WIFI for me everything seems Okay when I use windows 10.

I'm having issues with my wifi just turning off. It stops loading pages too but it doesn't do that on my other PC that still runs Windows 7.

Downloaded and installed Windows 10 not too long ago, and I'm quite impressed, mainly by the aesthetics and new features (especially Cortana).

Unless he means Windows 7 and 8 users get it free for a year and 8.1 users get it free forevef

Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 8.1.1 users have one year to get it for free. After the year is up you must pay for it if you need a copy. If you get it for free now it's yours forever. You don't have to buy it after a year if you get it now.

Not a huge fan of the newer Windows updates, so I'm going to be abstaining from upgrading to Windows 10. I'm perfectly happy with my Windows 7, so I'll just keep this until I'm forced to upgrade by getting a new computer. :C

Yes, I can see Window '10' in the future.
I'm a bit confused. I thought this free download is free forever?

It is free to download for thoses who currently have Windows 7 or 8 (or 8.1) during the first year. So if you want Windows 10 without paying for it you upgrade now. If you don't upgrade you will have to pay the full price ($120) after.

So yes it is free forever if you upgraded already. One thing to let you know though. Windows 10 is tied to your motherboard (I found this through Reddit) so if you switch to a new PC you will have to buy Windows 10. Only thoses who build custom pc's (such as myself) will really be the only ones to worry about the OS being tied to the motherboard though. 😛
