If any of you tried the RC, yes it's similar to vista, but it is hella lot faster and it's just awesome.

I get Windows 7 (and all microsoft software) for free through my university, been running windows RTM for a couple of weeks and it's great

Vista was a total fail and microsoft new that, thats why vista was only out for like 2 years. The funny thing though is that microsoft has already begun planning and developing windows 8 and windows 7 hasnt been released yet 🙂

Well it's standard for them to start planning a new OS as soon as one is completed.

Today, I ordered Windows 7 Ultimate. I cannot wait to get it, hopefully it will be much better than vista.

vista is too slow... use XP 😀

Its only too slow if your computer has poor specs meaning you cant run it properly. It does say it needs about 1GB RAM to run. So if you have about 2GB it shouldnt be slow.

I like windows 7 and It is really good operating systems. It is better than previous all operating systems of Microsoft. I like the most feature of windows 7 is touchscreen. It is amazing feature. It is saving our time.It is faster than windows XP and windows Vista. It is also supporting the ext2/ext3. Windows vista is failure operating systems.

Windows 7 is suppose to be better than Vista. Vista is so slow.

This is because windows 7 is what vista was suppose to be.

Did you know it doesn't even come with the kernel 7 that it was suppose to come with.

Instead they just tweaked nt 6 and named it nt 6.1 .

I been using 7 with 1GB of RAM and it works decently for my needs which are web browsing, MSN, watching videos, word proccessing, and basic image editing.

I boot up in under 50 seconds.

I have Windows 7, and not a whole lot of RAM. It boots up real fast, nothing that has disappointed me yet.

Does anyone know if there is a dual boot screen for vista or is that just for xp?
