Your first forum?

I remember my very first forum was a general chat forum and I used phpBB for it and I remember how difficult the mods were to install back then (this was around 2004 - 2005) and any slight mistake meant if you had a backup you had to pull it back in and if you didn't you had to start fresh if you messed it up enough. Safe to say eventually I moved from Phpbb to MyBB and found that better to add mods and such to and then eventually I moved to vBulletin when I had the money to.

My first forum was on one of those free forum hosts using the v1 version of ipb. My first serious forum was on vBulletin 3 then we moved over to XenForo when it released. I ended up selling it after a few years and since then I have been creating all my websites myself to suit their own needs rather than using premade software.

I honestly don't remember my first forum ever. I only recall my first sort of successful forum called Harvest Moon Universe. It was a forum about the game series Harvest Moon. It didn't last super duper long, but was my most successful forum at the time. My second forum which was a flop IMO was a forum about gaming and entertainment.

My first forum was a Yu-Gi-Oh TCG forum on the InvisionFree software. It didn't last too long as I started pursuing other projects.

My first forum is on Proboards. I remember before Bizdustry have runned forum software creator but this forum is no longer live and I do not know the reason behind discontinue of this service.

It was a free host. I believe it was Create a Forum or CreateForum, or something like that, basically a stripped down version of phpBB. After, I moved it to IPBFree. It had a couple hundred members (not all active). Wasn't huge or anything, but I had a lot of fond memories.

The first forum I ever made was called Impact Modding Zone (if I remember correctly). I had used ZetaBoards to build it. It was basically for creating and sharing mods for THQ WWE RAW/Impact games. It was quite big and active back then in 2014, but since all the admins got busy with life we decided to close it.

I used Invisionfree back in the day to run a gaming forum called Unlimitaled and a Pokemon forum that I forget the name of. Neither really picked up steam, though they did have some members that stuck around to do some posting.

It was for a club where people can hangout online which was created using Proboards. Didn't last long but it was fairly active when it was up.

This is something I haven't thought about in a while.

My first forum, I was using Forumotion and it was a very specific niche` so it was hard to get people to join.

My first forum was a YABB (Yet Another Bulletin Board) that was a Princess Ayeka fan site. Shortly afterward, I migrated to SMF and expanded the site to become a Tenchi Muyo! haven. It was never really all that big, but it did receive a lot of activity, especially from a random group of high school kids.
