YouTube's New Look

I don't like it. The old one was less cluttered and easier on the eyes. The new one looks like MySpace.

I actually really like it, despite my fb newsfeed being blown the next day about how horrible the new layout is. I find it a lot more useful and definitely cleaner. and cleaner is always better - something facebook is going offtrack on. Buuuuut, it's starting to seem more and more like a video version of either facebook or twitter.

I found a way to view the old subscription page by visiting http://www.youtube.com/home instead of YouTube.com while logged in.

Now, the new layout is not as big of a problem for me.

Thanks for posting about that. I'm glad to see the old page still works.

I abhor the new layout. If nothing else for the reason that none of the links actually work. (I'm using the latest version of Opera and: all the subscription links on the left to filter the content do nothing, the checkbox to show video content only doesn't work, the little x to remove suggested subscriptions/channels doesn't work.)
I also despise the prominence of the facebook and google+ bits in the subscription section. I don't like having to scroll down to see all the recommended videos one at a time. Let alone the fact that I can't click x to get rid of videos I don't like or already watched like I could on the old layout.
And of course the layout in the middle is messy beyond comprehension... it shows everything as it occurs with no way to ignore or remove parts of it so it results in this massive list of junk which most of it I could care less about. (I don't care someone favourited a video or they "liked" one. )

So basically this new layout is broken, ugly and uncalled for. Way to go Team Youtube. /Sarcasm.

I think they should make an option so users could permanently switch back to the old layout. It wouldn't be that hard for them to do and it'd appeal to so many people. I've heard that Youtube is getting a ton of negative feedback about this new layout. (And from all the replies I've personally seen, they've all been negative. Lots of people asking for them to either revert the layout or give people the option to revert.) Seems like very few actually like it.

No problem, I wonder if some YouTube Partners or regular YouTubers will upload a ton of videos to dominate the new subscription page when logged into YouTube.com.

I notice YouTubers who post a lot of videos a day like LockerGnome/Chris Prillo are causing my Feed on the new layout to be full of Chris Prillo's Lockergnome videos which is good for him since he gets more publicity from subscribers, but slightly annoying for me since he post like 5 or more videos a day, and take up a lot of space/ lines on the new subscription layout, so I need to scroll more to find videos by lesser known YouTubers who only post 1 video per day, or 3 videos per week, or less.

I like the navigation of it but I prefer the old simple one.... which I kind of thought was what Google was all about.

I like the other one better, but I always get use to a new theme.

I'm not a huge fan. Something I really don't like is how the videos you've watched in your subscriptions don't disappear.

Another ploy by google to try and kill facebook...

I researched about the looks of Youtube - and I got to this forum. There really is a great deal with facebook and Google right now and it started with FB being too popular and is making big G insecure. They will figure it out.
