You can't really do anything unless your site is copyrighted etc.. Or maybe even contact him to change the layout, names etc.. or change them yourself. Theres not much you can do really. Your site is many of sites that get copied.

It's automatically copyrighted. What I'm typing right now is copyrighted (at least in the USA).



I'd send a letter to his web host, best thing you can do really.

I understand that. I'm just surprised that he would actually do that. He's a "reputable" member on DP with 60 iTrader.

Dan the Man has been wanting to buy BOF from me. He's literally whined and begged me to sell it to him. I've declined every time he's asked.

The first sentence is true in context of the forum's ownership. The second sentence of yours is not really true. If I do this: "What I'm typing right now is copyrighted (at least in the USA).", I'm not breaking copyright laws because that sentence is not original in context of you making that post. If you think it's copyright, what can you do about it? Not much.
 
Forums get copied all the time. If I found out someone were to copy my forum, I would just ignore them, as wasting time trying to report them would only add to the stress. Really, there's not a whole lot you can do other than just going on with the forum as planned.
 
Yeah, I wouldn't be bothered unless they like stole a custom theme I made myself (Or, in the case of other people, paid for...)

Well that Dan guy looks like he's running an unlicensed version of IPB, unless he bought copyright removal (which seems like a waste of money to me anyway), or forgot to enter his license key (aka - stupid). Report him to the IPS.

Would be valid if it wasn't for the fact that Mr. Greens forum has been open for months and is doing great. If he shut it down that'd be dumb, with Black Ops coming out and all gonna be worth a lotta money
