Lets get this year battle rolling 🙂 YEAHHHHHHH
Nice, will take a look and vote 🙂 good luck to all that has entered, 🙂
I have!! lolOkay, all of the first 32 polls are now live. These polls will last seven days. Good luck guys.
Make sure you vote in every poll. 😉
Remember guys this contest is based on which forum looks better, which has worked the hardest, which has the most potential.. Not choosing member favouritism because we all know how this forum works.
Are we able to change our votes? I voted for a site, but the way that the owner has conducted himself in the competition so far has been abysmal and shameful, so I'd like to submit a protest vote against his site now. If not, that's cool; I'll just take that into account for the next round. 😉
No, I specifically set it so that individuals couldn't change their results after they voted. In the past, we've had people going back and changing their votes to intentionally create ties. 😛
Majority of the favouritism comes from members already registered here.. Lets not even talk about the staff too.Members are allowed to vote how they choose. That's why forum owners are encouraged to tell members of their communities to come to FP and vote. It's impossible to not have some favoritism involved with that.

I presume that the competition isn't a fair one. Defeats the purpose of the objective of the competition. But hey ho, as long as it gets you new members. And that bothers you, I presume?
I agree that people should vote based on the merits of the sites involved in the battle. There are numerous cases where bitterness against an individual plays a role in how people vote, and that's not an ideal situation by any means.Majority of the favouritism comes from members already registered here.. It's mostly favouritism to those who are more active on here or have helped the community in some way either through moderation or helping with technical issues in the past. That should not be allowed but unfortunately is. There is no way of moderating votes. It's just the way it is. There is no one to blame how the results of this competition ends up. It's just a matter of joining for the sake of it and if you are lucky, you'll get to the end.I agree that people should vote based on the merits of the sites involved in the battle. However, how the owner of a site chooses to conduct himself or herself when "pitching" his or her site, if you will, undoubtedly plays a role in how sites are perceived. For example, I have been banned from some of the sites in the competition because of personal beefs that the owners had with me on other forums. Does that weigh into how I vote? Absolutely. It shows that the sites are not moderated fairly. Similarly, lack of respect on the part of the owner when he or she is pitching his or her site can, and should, be weighed when considering the site. If the owner of the forum is engaged in unprofessional behavior, who's to say that lack of respect won't cross over into how the actual site in question is run?
Yeah hosting it fairly and getting the new registrations fairly. The competition is a joke. The major benefit of hosting a contest like this is the potential of getting new registrations here at FP.
What's wrong with you?
Bold of you to assume that there is a consensus as to who has been helpful on FP in the past. Some of the people who did the most for the forum are vilified and despised. 😉It's mostly favouritism to those who are more active on here or have helped the community in some way either through moderation or helping with technical issues in the past. That should not be allowed but unfortunately is.
