It's mostly favouritism to those who are more active on here or have helped the community in some way either through moderation or helping with technical issues in the past. That should not be allowed but unfortunately is. There is no way of moderating votes. It's just the way it is. There is no one to blame how the results of this competition ends up. It's just a matter of joining for the sake of it and if you are lucky, you'll get to the end.

Seems like you're specifically referring to me.

Yeah hosting it fairly and getting the new registrations fairly. The competition is a joke.

I'm failing to see anything unfair that's taking place. I cannot control how members make decisions in this voting process. Not sure what you're expecting from me there?

Is a divine intervention to control the internal biases of human beings too much to ask, Cam?

Jesus.

If I could do that, I'd get people to stop voting for Trump.

You are taking this personally. This isn't an attack towards you.
I've already said "There is no way of moderating votes. It's just the way it is. "

Stop being cringe, seriously.

I just fail to see how a default xenforo looking theme wins over a heavily custom one.
One being amateur and the other being pro. But that says it all doesn't it.

I'm not turning this into a debate or an argument, I've said all I've had to say on the matter.

You went through and voted against every site in this competition that I own, plus you straight up said that my personal site sucks. Seems like you're sending a lot of heat my way.

Haha, wow. So you've gone and read into that now have you?

I based all my decisions on which are best, sorry all yours are just so basic? I'm not one to brown nose just cause you're an admin like most people do.

Also, @JoyFreak, there's more to a site than design. I hope I don't get into trouble for posting this profanity-laced site, but I think it is very applicable to this situation.

All the design in the world can't make up for a toxic community or lack of content.

Yes exactly. That site isn't only missing a good design but also lack of content. I fail to see either site having a toxic community? It doesn't matter anyway, if the admin is pretending like this isn't a concern, so why should we be concerned?

Who you vote for isn't a big deal, but don't tell people that their site sucks. We need to be civil.

For the record, I would have voted for JoyFreak against at least 90% of the other participants in this competition.

I didn't mean it in a malicious way but I can understand now that you've brought it to attention that it wasn't nice. So I can only apologise for that on my part. But I still stand by what I've said about this competition 😛

I appreciate your apology. I respect everything you've got going on over at JoyFreak. It's a fantastic community.

Bit overheating topic this has turned into now. I think we need to stick little more with respecting otherwise new and old members are going to be cut off from reading or voting now.

The topic ended last night, you just brought it back up.

Since the standard being used by the community to determine who gets or doesn't get a vote is diferent from person to person means ther is no set standard being used by everyone so your loss or victory in any and all rounds says nothing about anyone who won or lost which applies to all boards in this contest. Calling this contest unfair means you are holding to a claim that someone is violating some rule or guideline and is not being dealt with properly. A person or people choosing to engage in a practice that the rules is fine with but you aren't is not the defintion of unfair. Unfair would mean someone is engaging in a practice that violates the rules and is not being stopped or punished for doing so and unless you can demonstrate that is going on then your complaint about it being unfair is not based in sound reasoning and should be roundly rejected.
