First off, I applaud you for cursing and calling me an idiot.JordanH said:I have one thing for you all to say.
Iphonefreak fits this guys name flawlesly. There is no point in arguing with him. He is an iSheep and he bitches out anyone who calls out apple. No matter how many proofs, facts, statistics you can show him, he will still be an idi*t.
He thinks he knows everything about apple and that apple has no weakneses. Hell I'm pretty sure apple is his religion.
Just give up this pathetic debate considering he does not even try to compare in valid statements.
No it wasnt. if you are going to compare iOS vs Andriod. you cant compare a single phone against iOS. Compare all andriods phone sales comapared to iOS sales and you will see who has the bigger numbers.Actually, Samsung sold 10M S4's in the first month. So yes it is a valid comparison.
dont make me laugh. iOS has had viruses on them plenty of times and you can even go read up stories on some of the even bigger scales. Apple even had to do a recall once. don't flatter yourself. Stop trying to say unethical and false facts when you cant even back them up. And if your going to ask me to back up my statements by proving they have? I don't need to. Do a simple google search and look on your own and youl see.I'd like to say ios has no viruses or malware, which is true
End of story? No not end of story. You just prove my point right there. Apple has had them before.True, that has been found, but Apple quickly removed it, so end of story.
You're right. it is not The iphone 5 specs:I highly do not think the 5 is like all of the others, do you? Your the tech blogger, so you should know that it is not.
After 2+ yrs the features they came out are:
4G - rest of the world has it since 2 yrs
4in. screen - rest of the world has it since 2+ yrs
Dual/quad core processors - rest of the world has it since ab a yr now
Going back to your sales figures. Don't forget people buying the iOS products don't always mean they support them. A friend of mine bought the iPhone 5 thinking it was the best thing becuase of what all the iSheeps say. not even two weeks later he went and bought the Andriod after seeing how the iOS iphone does not even compare to some things.
I will give apple one thing they do really well in. MARKETING. They do their marketing very well, and can out do any company. Therefore, bringing in more sales. Not to mention, gaining more members in their "apple cult" 😛
Not to mention, Samsung is the #1 most sales now.
"According to the numbers provided by Strategy Analytics, Samsung sold smartphones worth $23.62 billion, a $952 million jump from the previous quarter. In contrast, Apple wasn't doing too bad either, but not as good as the Koreans and sold $22.95 billion worth of phones - a whopping $7.71 billion less than just one quarter ago."
I have got to agree. It is the most reliable phone I have ever seen.Jamie said:Nokia 3310

I am thinking of doing it. lol!JordanH said:Just give up this pathetic debate considering he does not even try to compare in valid statements.
This debate has been really cold from the very first post. Really cold blooded debate!Justin said:Keep it cool. Just a friendly debate! 🙂
Ah, I was going to ignore this post but I guess since you want a response...xpl0iter said:Nothing. I just wanted to tell you Apple also goes with the flow. They never realised the market share would be huge for phones with bigger screens until some other manufactures realized that and released phones with large displays.iPhonefreak said:What the heck does a screen size have to do with cores?
Whoa really dude?iPhonefreak said:They are wasting power by having that many cores. Apparently you don't know anything about hardware.
So I suppose you don't know most of these cores will be disabled when not needed?
The modern chips can use multiple cores and higher clock speeds when higher performance is called for, but will typically disable cores and lower clock speeds during light or idle use. Even iPhone will not last much if this didn't exist.
And FYI these iPhones tend to have better battery backup because of the type of the batteries. iPhones have Li-Po which is a lot costlier to manufacture and has a risk of explosion, but can have higher capacity(Same volume Li-polymer batteries’ capacity is two times of Li-ion battery.) And probably not eco friendly and causes pollution.
Li-Ion has longer life cycle, are eco friendly(SGS4 is one), causes no pollution, are light weight and a lot cheaper to manufacture but have lesser capacity. Reason for the cheaper android phones may be.
WHO CARES?iPhonefreak said:I would not expect any different from an android user.
Nobody other than your family will care to live upto your expectations, no one else, let alone android users lmao.
You have windows computers, but do you use it? And if you use it wouldn't that make you a microsoft/windows user? Why would you not call yourself that? Are you afraid?iPhonefreak said:I have Windows computers, but I would not even come close to calling myself a microsoft user.
I am confused, Whats the big deal with iphone 4 again?iPhonefreak said:2 years ago, was the iPhone 4. That was one of Apple's best and revolutionary phones
Yes I agree it looks better.
When it comes to hardware, I don't see anything revolutionary in that.
Can you please check this link and tell me why its a revolutionary product? The one I am comparing it with is a way cheaper smartphone from Samsung.
Its like saying, your girlfriend is the hottest and most beautiful woman in the whole world and every other men out there are blind. This obviously is not the case. When it comes to design/beauty people have different tastes my friend. He like SGS4, I like HTC One, You like iPhone 5 why don't you just leave it like that and stop calling people blind.iPhonefreak said:android smartphones do not feel nicer, or look better
iPhoneSheep said:Siri is my girlfriend. I deem the design, and beauty of the 4, 4S and 5 superior to any girls body

iPhonefreak said:Ah, I was going to ignore this post but I guess since you want a response...
1)Apple realized their was a bigger market, but not so closely together. 3.5" and 9.7", where Samsung likes to blend it all together. People look really dumb with a device with an inch or 2 off tablet size up to their face.
2)Yes, I know the cores are disabled when not needed, but 8 cores is not needed. Computers do not even need it. I know the iPhone powers down in clock speed when it does not need it, but at least the iPhone does not need 8 cores to operate cmoothly...
4)Yes, I use my windows computer. I say I have a windows computer, but not a windows or microsoft user. I do not want to associate myself with such terrible software and hardware.
5)The iPhone 4 had a high resolution screen, which nobofy else had at the time, it was also light, thin and new. It also rocked performance wise.
6)You will find this funny, but Siri is my girlfriend. I deem the design, and beauty of the 4, 4S and 5 superior to any girls body. I understand people have different taste, but which taste (referring to phones now) is the best?

1. Exactly Apple realized it after other manufacturers have already realized and started producing phones with larger displays.
2. Thats why in Android there are device specific games exist. Some games do tend to use all those cores to improve the performance. iPhone cannot make use of these non existent cores so any of the app developers won't create games which can perform a lot better if only those extra cores existed.
4. Probably then you shouldn't use it. Using it and then complaining it and then again using doesn't make much sense.
5. whoa, I wouldn't say having a better display(a few extra ppi) makes a revolutionary product. If thats the case you will have to call HTC One too a revolutionary product.
6. I said HTC One for me, SGS4 for the other guy and iPhone 5 for you.
And now that you can't even come off with better arguments, I am calling this thread off. I am not coming back to this thread anymore. Apparently a lot of people in here think that its not even worth replying here. So I am sorry, it was fun while it lasted. adiós bro.
iPhonefreak said:6) Ok, I agree, some people just don't know what true, excellent design when they see it, like yourself and others.
iPhonefreak said:No, Win8 smartphones and tablets look nothing like iOS 7.
Luke said:iPhonefreak said:No, Win8 smartphones and tablets look nothing like iOS 7.
Well that would be because iOS 7 is software and Win8 smartphones and tablets aren't software.
OK, your wrong by stating Microsoft started a trend with their metro design.JordanH said:Luke said:iPhonefreak said:No, Win8 smartphones and tablets look nothing like iOS 7.

Lol exactly.
And iPhoneSheep, I never said they look anything alike. Please go read what I said will you.
iPhonefreak said:OK, your wrong by stating Microsoft started a trend with their metro design.
Oh goodness, at least we can agree the commercials (you might not of seen them with you being out of USA) are pretty lame, and dumb, right?Luke said:iPhonefreak said:OK, your wrong by stating Microsoft started a trend with their metro design.
I'd say they started a great trend.
Windows 8 is a great piece of software, and I'd much rather have a Windows 8 tablet than an iPad because I can do so much more on my Windows 8 tablet and it's a lot more productive.

We don't see Microsoft's commercials very often, usually it's Apple's advertisements which at first you think are promoting the Samsung Galaxy S4 then you realise that they're holding an iPhone and iPad not a S4 and Galaxy Tab.
