Homosexuality: Right or Wrong?

If it goes against nature, then why can numerous animal species be observed engaging in homosexual acts?

The only issue I personally have with it is the lack of evidence around gay couple adoptions- I believe the best situation is where you have both a male and a female significant person in your life. Ultimately it's what is best for the adopted child, rather than equal rights, which matters in this case.
There is evidence that shows that children adopted by homosexual couples adjust just as well as children raised by heterosexual parents. Lunar actually linked some in a post a few pages back, I believe.

Well, I am gay. I struggle to tolerate myself but not for being homosexual. I support the movement that will hopefully allow me to have the same rights as heterosexual couples. Maybe one day my significant other and I can get married in our state. In the mean time, we're planning on becoming married in another state.

I am completely comfortable with whatever sexuality you attain. Love can't choose what it wants. It just happens

Who cares what two adults in a consensual, monogamous relationships do in private? It's not like they're the ones telling you how you should live your life.

Exactly. Other people justify dictating how someone should live their love life because "the bible says so", or "ermehgerd it's against my religion so it's obviously against the law!"

It's even worse with the Catholic child abuse scandals. Talk about irony.

People aren't born gay. There's no evidence to support that fact (however, some men have less testosterone, and vice versa for women). Therefore, I don't see why people act like gay marriage should be the same as normal marriage.

Simple reason - it is the same. The only difference is the genders involved, that's it. Otherwise, it's a "normal" marriage. The people getting married will still love each other dearly and want to spend the rest of their life together.

A brother marrying (or wanting to marry) his biological sister would be the same if that's how you look at it. lol.

The video is kind of poking at the christian audience. Which is not my intention, but there is evidence out there & studies being made towards the male side of this topic. Though for the attention span of some people on the internet a video like this is a good plus.

I know I was born gay. I've known it since I was like two. For as long as I can remember I have been attracted to women. Did you choose to be straight? I highly don't think so. Even in nature there are homosexual animals. I doubt they chose to be gay. As for the question yes I think right and I should be able to marry my girlfriend. You don't have to associate with gay and lesbian people if you don't want to, and if it doesn't affect your life then you should just ignore it.

Sad this is even a debate topic. Most people who strongly object to gay people are probably a little gay themselves and they turn the fear of that into hatred towards those who embrace their gay side.

EXACTLY! Even sadder that there are people out there who condemn people simply for doing what makes them happy. Since when do other people have the right to judge others based on their happiness?

Since when? Since the beginning of time. Not just about people being gay but about anything in life. Anything anyone does is going to bother someone else out there. If someone has an issue with the way you are living your life, its their issue. Let them deal with it and go on living your life the way you want to. 🙂

My point was, no one does have that right. No one has to right to judge others or dictate if what they do is "allowed". We're not talking about someone who is committing an illegal crime (rape, murder), we're talking about someone consenting to being with the same sex.

I have the right to judge whoever I want and so do you, so does everyone else. We're all entitled to opinions and can be judgmental all we want. But no matter how we feel towards another person on the inside, we should all treat each other with respect and tolerance on the outside, to their face at least. That's what separates us from the animals. Civility.
