There is evidence that shows that children adopted by homosexual couples adjust just as well as children raised by heterosexual parents. Lunar actually linked some in a post a few pages back, I believe.Sam said:The only issue I personally have with it is the lack of evidence around gay couple adoptions- I believe the best situation is where you have both a male and a female significant person in your life. Ultimately it's what is best for the adopted child, rather than equal rights, which matters in this case.

It's even worse with the Catholic child abuse scandals. Talk about irony. The Governor said:Exactly. Other people justify dictating how someone should live their love life because "the bible says so", or "ermehgerd it's against my religion so it's obviously against the law!"

Simple reason - it is the same. The only difference is the genders involved, that's it. Otherwise, it's a "normal" marriage. The people getting married will still love each other dearly and want to spend the rest of their life together.

I know I was born gay. I've known it since I was like two. For as long as I can remember I have been attracted to women. Did you choose to be straight? I highly don't think so. Even in nature there are homosexual animals. I doubt they chose to be gay. As for the question yes I think right and I should be able to marry my girlfriend. You don't have to associate with gay and lesbian people if you don't want to, and if it doesn't affect your life then you should just ignore it.Gamer Outpost said:People aren't born gay. theezy said:Sad this is even a debate topic. Most people who strongly object to gay people are probably a little gay themselves and they turn the fear of that into hatred towards those who embrace their gay side.

Since when? Since the beginning of time. Not just about people being gay but about anything in life. Anything anyone does is going to bother someone else out there. If someone has an issue with the way you are living your life, its their issue. Let them deal with it and go on living your life the way you want to. 🙂

My point was, no one does have that right. No one has to right to judge others
