Summer break from school. Some schools get out this month and others out next month.
Anyways if he does a good job at this job he can have an employer there to say that he has a strong work ethic and is reliable. Then he could get a job in (for example) construction.. Then he can come back and call you ignorant for sitting around on the computer all day while he is making $100 an hour and getting paid to work out. 😛
What I’m trying to say is that sure, he can make $1000/month, but only during the Summer, unless he wants to sacrifice school.

Yes, because by then, I’ll still be doing the exact same thing I’m doing now and only making $1000/month. Keep in mind I’m only 17 myself, and making money from the Internet is only the start for me. By the time he reaches $100/hour, only god knows what I’ll be doing by then.

Well if you're earning money from the internet, you are sitting around on your computer
Literally, yes, but that’s not important and doesn’t justify the point you’re trying to make.

As for you launching new sites every week, you take on a workload that unless you have absolutely no life you can't manage and then sell forums after you realise this. As for you having 50 domain names, great, doubt many of them are going to be put to good use.
Once again, that’s ignorance. I’m not going to tell you how I manage my sites, or what happens in my life. You can doubt all you want.

Oh and people who work in jobs such as Mod Hidden's are more important to society then people who earn $1,000 a month off the internet.
That’s your own opinion. Frankly, I believe otherwise. People who make money from the Internet are far smarter than people who work in fast food restaurants. Smarter people are the ones who are more important in society. And just because somebody is making money from the Internet, it doesn’t mean they can’t have a real part-time job as well.

The thing is Mr.Green, he will actually have something to put on his resume when he is looking for future work, unlike you, who can't put Freelance Web Developer as you have no real skill set which employers look for when hiring people. Anyone can say they sit on a computer and earn $1,000 a month, but if you actually have a job, and do the hard work to earn the money, it shows more.
That’s a different story in itself, as I’m talking specifically about the salary in his scenario. But regardless, you can definitely put Internet work on your resume. People do it all the time. And how could you say that a freelance web developer has ‘no real skill set?’ That’s completely false.
I’m sure it’s harder to take orders in a fast food restaurant and prepare some food, than it is to develop a website and make money from it, right?
Keep em’ coming, folks.
