New Service - Featured Forum

It's a great idea, and looks very good in my opinion. When it was first setup, there were a few problems, but since I've checked back, all of them have been fixed.

Although.. The "Add your forum here..." link is not positioned correctly from my point of view.. It is slightly above the blue box, not sure why. Mind you, I have recently purchased a much larger PC monitor, so it's probably that causing the problem, along with another display problem on the forum..

But, back to the service.. It's great, and will give users much more exposure than a lot of FP's other services. Not sure whether the "Visit Site: Click Here" links are absolutely necessary, seems a waste of space to be honest, as simply clicking the image or the forum title will take you to the forum/website, no real need for another link in my opinion.

Nice to see new services coming though.. Although I think you have to know when to stop, as adding too many services will just make the forum look awfully overcrowded. Although your not at that stage yet, I just thought I'd mention it.

As for the No Avatar picture, it looks a bit low quality to me.. Was it created by a member of staff or taken off the web?

This is the very last service unless we decide to take one down.

The graphics and an old service got removed so this evens things up.

As for the No Avatar picture, it was taken from the internet and resized. The original wasn't brilliant quality itself. I would have knocked one up, but with the recent updates I've not found the time. Still, the default avatar and the smilies will be getting tweaked at some point today.

Thanks to everyone else for their feedback too, really glad to see how popular the new service is, and the fact we've already had to close requests because it's so popular. ~redface~

Okay, sounds good, I think this new service is a great addition.

EDIT: Considering this is quite a popular service and gives much more exposure than any of FP's other services, you should consider rising the cost of the service, it would help keep the amount of requests down so you don't have to close the requests all the time. Plus, I think 55 cash is quite cheap!

I think it's a great service and most importantly, unique. I am looking forward to my request being put up and great idea in the first place Mike. 😛
 
I think this is the best service here at FP, great idea it was I must say. Keep up all the good ideas for promoting!
 
We are currently in the process of adding them so the smilies may be messed up for a short while.
 
I have to say FF is a great service but it will get loads of requests and you will get bored of opening it and closing it, but I have to agree it is amazing.

Some of the updates I like, some I don't, but keep up the good work. I honestly don't like the new speech bubble edition in posts, maybe i'm just not used to it yet.
 
Unfortunately it is impossible to please everyone. People like different things and when you change something, it won't make everybody happy.

I'm getting used to the speech bubble now, I can't remember what it was like before.
