Have you heard of the show Mythbusters? Ever single thoery that people have thought up the Mythbusters team disproved. They even simulated the moons gravity for a couple experiments.MissTake said:

Just because you read something in a newspaper or see a report on TV it does not make it factual though either. My cousin was murdered 12 years ago, the reporting of his death was wrong through and through. They couldn't get the full facts so made bits up.....I just don't believe EVERYTHING I see or hear any more, it's that simple. 🙂

Think about it this way. Now that money isn't going into the space program to send Astronauts to the Moon and such. That money can be better spent on things that ACTUALLY need it. Like Schools for example.

People in schools study things like cosmology, and if there wasn't any funding to find out about the universe, it would just be a loss for those students.
The fact is that Earth is quite susceptible to danger as its in a place where it is perfectly in align with the Sun and other planets (otherwise we would be toast, or have frozen to nothing). We need space programs to find out what is happening out there. We need missions and research to find out why we are here, why we evolved, how did everything begin etc.? If we don't, that's also a section in education which is missing, so really, its just contradicted your comment, Chuckles. 😉

We have only been to the moon 3 times. NASA claims we know all there is to know. I think not; seeing we just found water there a few months back. We just made a brilliant discovery, and now obama wants to take away a chance in a life time?
