About time Featured Ad's got back up got sick of seeing the same one constantly, and the bubble ad service is awesome, but it could probably be renamed because, it is links with big/small text on a automatic post and no bubbles or anything surround it that is the only thing I dont get. But well done Fowler, you truly do earn the best of respect on the forum.

Our reasoning for the name "bubble" was that all the links are in a speech bubble shape area (all posts are also in a speech bubble). The name is certainly something that can be changed though.
The featured forums was something we didn't really know what to do with for a while but we just decided to go with a simple option really.

While the bubble ads look rather ugly IMO, the service should provide a lot for the members. Cheers, guys. 🙂
The "bubble ads" should be placed on the index page or just not be done at all. If you track the outgoing clicks from those, you will find they will probably be your least effective service. Besides, the viewtopic page is already littered with "Featured Forums" ads and staff affiliates.
--Edit-- I forgot I could switch to the dark skin and not be overwhelmed with ads that I and a majority of people wont ever click. 😛

I'm bitching because people constantly complain about change and never accept anything as it is. You should be grateful that people actually spend their money and time to add things like this, else forums like this wouldn't exist.

I have seen several people say "I clicked a signature on another forum" though.
Cramming as many ads as possible on the index and view topic pages is not going to help anyone and do nothing but annoy the members here.
