To me it's just adding more hurt, insult and injury to the already tragic relationship between the western world and Muslims. If it were the other way around and Islamic groups were burning effigies of Jesus or burning bibles our nation would be equally outraged and rightly too.....The man is an idiot and doing no good for religion or world peace.
Salmon Rushdie had a fatwa issued against him for writing Satanic Verses, it's hardly surprising if this man receives similar threats for his stupid stunt. Luckily the majority of people in the world are against his little show and he won't be gaining the support he thought he would, he's obviously another deluded (probably with little man syndrome) fame and power freak, who thinks the world needs people like him in it. :roll:

To my mind he did want the publicity, I could go outside and burn 200 Harry Potter books (nothing against Harry btw) and only my neighbours would know about it...so how did this little stunt circulate?

I'm a muslim? That's news to me. I've been a Catholic since I was born, and i've been in Catholic School a majority of my life. I've made my communion, reconcilliation, and i'm set to make my confirmation in February. Excuse me if I show acceptance to other's beliefs.
