Yeah, the two sequel idea wasn't the best in my opinion either. The new plot changes and stuff was good enough, but just one game would have been fine. But having two boosts profits among the people that have to buy every game that they release (guilty as charged lol).
So I picked up X and loved it. The revamped EXP. Share was a nice touch all around. I found the Elite 4 to be show offs and somewhat easy. Some mentions in the game from non playables has me wondering if a Ruby/Sapphire remake is in the works. Really would be nice if there was a ton of post game things to do though. Like more Looker Burea *however you spell that* missions for example.
So i got Pokemon X, the story was pretty much the same as always, you beat the bad guys and then save the day blah blah blah.
But when it came to aftergame ... BAM, most people say there really isnt much in the way of Endgame content but whoa would i disagree so heavily, after i spent hours filling my dex i decided to give into the power of breeding and i would spend about 8 - 12 hours a day breeding 5IV Perfect nature mons just becuase i knew how, it was great.
Then i got into MMing shinies because it was the easiest way .... that wondertrade i flooded it everyday.
now i dont play so much due to lack of time but when i do find the time i'll probably just trade w.e in my PC boxes away and start breeding from scratch with my 5IV Treeko

As big of a Pokemon fan as I am, I haven't followed anything pertaining to it in a while. Sometimes I'll watch the TV series just to see the Pokemon, but other than that, I don't even know part of the X and Y Pokemon list.

I've mostly been playing lately to try and complete the National Pokedex. :3 After that's done, I'll probably just let it sit around, and maybe if I get the great urge to do so, I'll make a competitive battling team just for lulz. Might do an event here or there involving the games on PWN.
