I really don't see how any of this is funny. The degrading comments about rape victims by Joe and the LOL about coathanger abortions by snowflake really just disgust me to no end.

I think your little rant...fit...is pretty funny. Calling names? Obviously not everyone is going to have the same opinon than you do but does that give you the right to try to break down and start calling names instead of supporting your position, whos validity is under heavy scrutiny?

Joe, it has nothing to do with me not knowing how to debate you. I don't give up on debates. I will go and go and go until the end in any debate I ever do. I used to run a popular debate forum for a year, and I won the debating award on this forum, so I think myself, as well as many others who frequent this forum, can testify to the fact that I do not give up on any type of debate. I have clear beliefs and I will continue to defend them.
This has all to do with the fact that you can say these things about rape victims, and you even have the balls to continue saying it in your next post. He beat the living crap out of her with chairs, bashed her head with a vase, and I really don't feel the need to say the rest. So you my friend, please come to Long Island, and go up to my cousin, and tell her that if she had gotten pregnant, she should just get over it, because we all have hard times in our life, and we all should learn to deal with it the best way we can. The opponents keep arguing that women shouldn't have the right to abort due to them "opened their legs" and deserve to take the responsibility. Something I have to say to that is, then should we not research to cure aids and STDs. Because a big chunk of the people who have aids got it from unprotected sex of course so that means people should take the responsibility for messing up I guess. The saame applies with stds, you can't get an STD without having sex (minus the vector STDs) so we should just let people die for opening their legs and not protecting themselves? The don't take a life phenonmenen keeps coming up in this topic, or at least the first 2 pages and last 3, I didn't have the energy to read all 30. Then again as people have mentioned should we not allow women to dispose of the egg that comes out during mensturation? Should we make masturbation illegal because it kills a potential life? The morning after pill too, i'm not sure exactly how it works but that also stops a potential life. My view is personally pro life, i dont like abortions, i think its just awful and i don't know those gynocologists have the ability to do what they do but it has to be legal. Its simple reproductive rights.

Well if we want to take it another step, we could get into the issues of population control. If abortion is illegal - more babies born (though it will still happen) and the population will rise greatly. The bad part of that, the population is going to rise greatly in poor non well off areas that babies should not be living in the first place, because these poor teenagers and young mothers who would have gotten an abortion in the first place, when she is too young to take care of the child, or has no money at the time, is now forced to bare a child.GamingOn said:

I saw that, but you can easily transfer STDs by sexual contact or by transfer of body fluids.
I am against that, however if somebody is determined to not have a child, I'd rather them use the morning after pill than have an abortion. Both cause the loss of life, but abortion essentially murders a baby, while the morning after pill allows it to not develop.

Adoption... the #1 bullshít answer given by every pro life person I know or have ever heard of. If adoption is so good, why are there thousands of kids waiting to be adopted in every state? Want that to turn to the hundred thousands if abortion is made illegal?
