Marijuana smoke has been found to contain more cancer-causing agents than is found in tobacco smoke.
Marijuana is usually smoked as a cigarette (joint) or in a pipe. It is also smoked in blunts, which are cigars that have been emptied of tobacco and refilled with marijuana. Since the blunt retains the tobacco leaf used to wrap the cigar, this mode of delivery combines marijuana's active ingredients with nicotine and other harmful chemicals.
Marijuana has often been touted as one of the safest recreational substances available. This is perhaps true; many reputable scientific studies support the conclusion that cocaine, heroine, alcohol, and even cigarettes are more dangerous to the user health than marijuana. Though there are many more studies to be done on this issue, current data shows that the answer to this question may not always be "yes."
Many people see marijuana as a harmless substance and think as a better substitute to other forms of smoking. But, studies show that the potential chemical THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), present in marijuana adversely affects human brain and mental health.
i'll make that decision. I don't need you or some guy in washington doing it for me.Cosmic said:The difference is utterly irrelevant when it comes to consumption. Either can kill you or be perfectly fine.
way to avoid the question. I don';t care what you think, but you are telling me that your usage of a drug is justified because it is what you call natural. you can believe that, but that doesn't give you some golden ticket which makes you automatically right. You are free to have your own opinion without fact in what you do, but in a debate it's pointless to claim that something is "natural", so therefore is utterly healthy. That is pseudo-science.Irviding said:i'll make that decision. I don't need you or some guy in washington doing it for me.Cosmic said:The difference is utterly irrelevant when it comes to consumption. When did I say that? When did I say all natural things are healthy????? Please quote me on that..Cosmic said:way to avoid the question. There are lots of sites if you wish to Google it 😉
Incorrect pot itself has never been linked to a death. Oh and @miss again weed does not have any tabbaco in it at all. It would be man made if it did... The tabbaco in joints is because people use a cigarette paper for the joint, instead of buying unused rolling paper.Cosmic said:The difference is utterly irrelevant when it comes to consumption. Don't forget bowls and bullets... :great:Gimgak said:Yeah, no one will argue that a joint or a blunt is a healthy way to smoke. Bongs are the way to go, and if you're rich then vaporizers.
So what though? It can do those things to you, but it's that person's decision. Not the government's.MissTake said:Gimak, I'm from the UK so don't know about that program or it's effects? 😕
Most people I know smoke it as a joint made with hand rolling papers and tobacco.......
This is the point at which I drop out of the conversation, as already stated I have seen first hand what smoking it can do and until you or someone you know encounters the down side then I really don't think my opinions count for much? 🙁
